The Demonic: A woman returns to her childhood home to lay to rest the ghosts of the past. But in this house, the ghosts are real, and evil has found a home.

The Mark: A satanic cult. A woman's brutal assault. Can one woman face her darkest fears before a demonic entity is unleashed from the depths of hell?

Forest of the Damned: A group of paranormal researchers investigate the infamous Black Forest, hoping to find proof of the afterlife and learn more of the infamous Mother Sibbett. But what they find is far beyond even their worst nightmares.

Listen to The Supernatural Horror Collection now, and strap in for three terrifying tales of ghosts, demons, death, and fear.

"The Demonic, by author Lee Mountford, is a horror tour de force.... It is scary. Truly scary." (HorrorNovelReviews.com on The Demonic)

"There's a slow build-up of dread, as he builds the characters and atmosphere, and slowly unwinds the story. At times, he dangles you over the edge for a few moments before he plunges you over the edge. And this is where his storytelling is a cut above many of his peers." (IntoTheMacabre.com on The Mark)

"I find that it’s often the details we least expect that elevate a novel’s status in our mind, and keep it there longer. A great testament to Mountford’s skill as a writer, is that I can still vividly 'see' many of the scenes in my mind, several books afterward. Highly recommended." (HorrorAfterDark.com on Forest of the Damned)

The 1st and the 3rd story were just ok for me. The 2nd story is what gripped me and had me coming back for more. Actually I think I listened to the 2nd story, having to go back multiple times to relisten to certain parts, all the way through which carried me into the 3rd book. I really tried to get into the 3rd but it was hard. As far as the performance goes in these books I honestly don't like it. Unfortunately I think that's the reason I had such a hard time with the 1st and 3rd stories. I want to be fair to the narrator so I will admit maybe his performance is so off putting to me is because I tend to start listening at night. And if I'm totally being honest I have to say out of 4 books I've read by this author I've really only liked 2 of the books because of the narrator. So it's really like a hot or miss at this point. The narrator has a very harsh British accent that may sound ok for a very few books but definitely not all of them that I've read so far. Also his acting is pretty bad. I appreciate a really good narrator that narrates the book and if they're going to"act" out every part then they do so because they are actually good at acting. Unfortunately this narrator tends to make everyone sound stupid. When he narrates a female role they always sound whiny and very stupid. As for the males parts he makes them sound really dumbed down. It's just very unfortunate because there are probably some really good stories that I, for one, am going to miss out on and look over. I'll conclude this review by saying that I'd probably buy more books from this author if they got a different narrator.

Good but Not Great And Get a New Narrator

I had previously read Demonic and did enjoy the book. I wanted to read (hear) more from the author and I now wish I had let it go. The stories are decent enough with Demonic being the best, however SA is a common occurrence in all three books. It was very uncomfortable to listen to. The narrator is good enough however he becomes very annoying when imitating a child’s voice. So if you are not too squeamish about SA give them a listen. I don’t think I’ll look for anymore by this author though.

I was actually scared listening to the story, I don't care for the English accent but it went very well with this Audible. This will be a best seller for sure. Thank You Mr Mountford, best wishes to you.

The only thing that comes to mind is disturbing, some what in a good way and some what in a bad way. Either way this is one of those books that linger on in your after reading or listening to. The characters come to life in your head and don't want to leave and won't pay rent. I love how there are some sound effects and music. It would have been awesome if there were more.

What a ride!

Every story was well written and ties into the next with an explosive ending that will fuel the most frightening chills down ur spine.
Wow...just Wow.

TERRIFYING!!!

The first two tales offer interesting yet, mediocre stories… The third starts intriguing and ends up being smutty. Almost horror porn. Disappointing.

Takes a turn.

I think this is the perfect horror anthology. Hell I read this book I would have had to read it during the day, but with Hannibal Hills reading it to me I think I need someone to sit and hold my hand as I read it. He has a perfect voice for horror I love this book and will read it again definitely!

Don’t listen before bedtime!
