Publisher's summary

Abandoned and cut off from friendly lines, Stiger takes the fight to the enemy!

A nobleman from an infamous family, an imperial legionary officer, a fighter, and a right proper bastard of a man...

Captain Ben Stiger captured Castle Vrell and rid it of a minion of a dark god. Now he finds himself cut off from the empire, with a hostile rebel army marching on the legion's fortress where they guard the entrance to Vrell Valley. It is not in Stiger's nature to simply wait for the enemy. Badly outnumbered and facing odds greater than 20 to one, he sets out to impede the enemy's advance and show them the steel that the legions are made of.

To help him on his way he has the services of his friend, Eli, one of the last remaining elven rangers. As if matters could not get worse, an army of dwarves is preparing to retake Castle Vrell, a sacred place they name Grata'Kor.

There are forces at play greater than Stiger can imagine. To survive he must contend with not only a well-supported rebel army but also a hostile dwarven nation intent on fulfilling a mysterious prophecy that has the potential to shatter the world and bring ruin to the empire.

The battle to save the empire and the world continues in this action-packed adventure.

Excellent excallent

Really excellent book I can't wait for the next one. Great story I usually don't like magic added in but this was so interesting and very well written. I can't wait to see what is in store for the Tigers.

Book 2 Brings Surprises

Book 2 in this series finds Stiger and his Legionaries confronting a rebel army that's bent on removing him from the fortress he just took over. Even though he's outnumbered more than 20-1, Stiger decides to take the fight to the advancing rebel army. Along the way we get more battle tactics, leadership skills, and daily life of a legionnaire. Add into the mix some major surprises and twists in the story, and we have a pretty entertaining read that is hard to put down.

Chronicles of an Imperial Legionary Officer Book 2 doesn't disappoint!

What a sequel!

Again, blown away by the series! I love the mix of accurate history on the Legion and how they operate mixed with the epic battle scenes and fantasy element, just a whirlwind ride of enjoyment! Narrator nails it again.

Great Story

in so many books such as this we see loss throughout and hardship, this book however masterfully set the stage for epic battles to come in the next books while giving the reader the ability to feel the pride the author is putting in the the material as well as smile a bit.... Cant wait to move on to the next. It's been a while since I have listened/read a book that makes me not want to set the series down, this series does just that.

Tiger Legend Expands!

This book did a great job of continuing to highlight the amazing historical knowledge of the author while rapidly advancing the story. Book 1 did a good job of setting the stage and introducing the characters and now the story continues to grow while also full of twists and turns! Also a great performance by the narrator!

Great book with enough leaks and valleys.

Great book by a writer who isn't a full time writer. It kept me interested for most of the way. I didn't particularly like the foul language as it wouldn't have been a book for young readers but I am sure that is mentioned. Thanks.
