About this listen
Santa. Zombies. The HOA. Life in the suburbs isn’t all birthday parties and bounce houses.
The Zomnibus includes:
Dads vs. The World
John, Chris and Erik are neighbors in the quaint subdivision of The Creeks of Sage Valley Phase II. The three men happily live the typical suburban family life. But, instead of living a quiet life they’re forced to take on Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the HOA, and, worst of all one another.
Dads vs. Zombies
John, Chris and Erik are still living in their quiet suburban homes. And up until now, their only real problems have been with each other and the draconian rules of the HOA. But, that all changes when the dead rise from their graves and walk the Earth. Now, they must reluctantly join together to survive the spreading apocalypse and find their families. Personal fears, long buried secrets and their own personalities threaten to tear the group apart as they make their way across the zombie ridden landscape in Dads vs. Zombies.
Dads vs. Zombies: Year 2
The world looks different a year after the dead rose from their graves.
Survivors live in walled enclaves while the zombies roam freely in the wasteland. John, Chris and Erik have made their home in the enclave of Haven and earn their keep in town by scavenging for supplies outside the walls. These excursions bring them face-to-face with grubby urchins, deadly warlords and hordes of the undead.
Will they find their families? Will they survive the thing that wasn’t Bill? Who or what is Captain Awesome? Find out in Dads vs. Zombies, a laugh-out-loud look at family, fatherhood and the living dead. If you like action, adventure and hilarious, quick-witted banter, you’ll love The Dads vs. Collection.

The post-apocalyptic world isn't that bad. Sure, there are mutants. But, for the people of New Hope, daily life isn't so much a struggle of finding food or medicine as it is trying to find a new shortstop for their kickball team. This makes it difficult for a post-apocalyptic warrior to find work. Thankfully, an army full of killers is making its way to the peaceful town and plans to raze it to the ground. Only a fully trained post-apocalyptic nomadic warrior can stop them.

She’s also the community “rescue mom”, taking in young people with no other place to go. All this while dodging an ex-boyfriend turned stalker who also happens to be a cop. A Secret Service operative and dedicated survivalist, Special Agent Del Roosevelt had a plan for every world-ending scenario and regularly trained for them all. He was even ready for a date with the hottest woman in his office next Friday. At least he hoped so. But all that training, all those rations, all that prepping? Useless for the apocalypse that actually played out. Del wakes up half-buried in a giant trash pile, missing his thumbs. And, um, covered in red fur. He's stuck in a world of fuzzy monsters, senseless violence, and cult-like crusaders.

Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Story
The mysterious Overlords destroyed all electronics on Earth, imposed a game-like System, and unleashed ravenous horrors upon the planet. I’m Noah Clark, a streamer famous for my ability to beat co-op games while playing solo. The System doesn’t care if we live or die, but I was able to pick the hidden summoner class, so I’ve got access to game breaking mechanics that just might give me a chance.

The corporations promised it could never happen. Of course they would say that. Their products were everywhere. They had turned everything from scarecrows to coffee makers into robots, and there wasn't a home on Earth that wasn't filled with their machines.

Story
The post-apocalyptic world isn't that bad. Sure, there are mutants. But, for the people of New Hope, daily life isn't so much a struggle of finding food or medicine as it is trying to find a new shortstop for their kickball team. This makes it difficult for a post-apocalyptic warrior to find work. Thankfully, an army full of killers is making its way to the peaceful town and plans to raze it to the ground. Only a fully trained post-apocalyptic nomadic warrior can stop them.

Story
Our retro-tech towns might seem idyllic, yet go beyond the arcades and coffee shops and you'll reach the danger zones roamed by bionic bots. Me? I ran a video store with my cute friend Emiko. She's always been a little different, so I had to look out for her—we usually just watched movies and played games together. One day, a suspicious pink-haired chick burst into the store, warning me not to watch a tape labeled Property of Steelheart—Do Not Watch! So obviously, I did, and a terrifying ghost crawled out of the screen.

Trist's older brother, Percy, was better than him at almost everything—except for swordplay. Percy was their father's heir, and Trist was perfectly content with his future as a Knight of Narvonne, supporting his brother and protecting their family's land. In a single night, a beautiful faerie of the Court of Shadows shatters everything Trist took for granted. Now an Exarch, Trist must tithe souls to Auberon, the Faerie King. Trading those souls grants Trist power, and he'll need it. Three hundred years ago, an ancient evil nearly destroyed humanity in a cataclysm.

I found myself laughing out loud at several points during my listen through. the narrator does a great job of selling the characters that the author did such a fine job of crafting. honestly I could put faces to the characters just by imagining my friend group lol. very entertaining
