About this listen

Nether Ops works in shadows, and those shadows taint all they touch.

Soren Voss believes in the Republic. But when he puts a promising Navy career on hold to serve as a covert agent, he encounters truths that throw everything he knows into turmoil. After weeks in deep cover living life with ruthless gangs, Soren uncovers a stolen cache of weapons, a mysterious upgraded form of legionnaire armor, and a written oath of loyalty for someone named...Goth Sullus. The agent follows leads that bring him face-to-face with crooked legionnaires, slimy politicians, and a powerful smuggler and gunrunner named Scarpia.

Soren follows a darkening path to the heart of the Republic, and what he uncovers leaves him wondering not only if the Republic can be saved, but if he's even on the right side.

US Army veteran Richard Fox, author of the Ember War Saga, teams up with Anspach & Cole to deliver this thrilling stand-alone set in the aftermath of Galaxy's Edge: Kill Team!

A New Side to a Great Story

Find out what could drive a committed and faithful spook, who has forsaken family and identity for his Republic, to question his very foundation. Richard Fox, Jason Anspach and Nick Cole, through the unquestionably top talent that is Luke Daniels, bring us a deeply human experience of intrigue, betrayal, and doubt, as we journey through the nether onto the other side. Whether that side is light or dark, that's for you to find out.

Another Great Listen

Even though I love R.C. Bray, Luke Daniels knocks this narration out of the park. The story is a thrill, but those who have listened to any other Galaxy's Edge book already know this.

Well... sket. this should have been like book 2.

it was good this book should have come out earlier in the series. So far I have purchased all the books in the galaxys edge series on audible. I wont Clint you I love it. the back stories and the lore are right on par with the main story. it's awesome to see how the all weave into eachother.

Best Order of the Centurion Book

This should be part of main story arc. The narrative performance is incredible and the story fills a lot of gaps after Kublar and ‘Tom’. If you’re going to listen to any of the OotC series, this should be the one.

Thank you for saving the series.

Great story. The fourth book was a wonderful surprise after the terrible 2nd book and above average third book. The story was wrapped up tightly at the end and explains why so many once loyal citizens made the decision to betray the republic.

Excellent!!!!!

A great addition to to already fantastic story line. The performance was awesome and the characters were fun to follow. I hope there's more of Haywood though, in the next story.

Good backstory

Action packed & full of political intrigue & the convolutwd workings of the house of reason.
Shows hows how a hero of the republic is lured to the dark side & winds up working for Goth Sullus.
A how good people wind up doing bad things story & the seedy side of undercover spy work.
Add in galactic intrigue, cool tech , dark times & a funny AI.
My only complaint is one of the most entertaing & quirky bad a** characters gets knocked off in the early part of the story. I would've enjoyed seeing a lot more of her. She was a much better comedic foil to the more ernest & serious main character than the snarky AI.
overall a good read for fans of the s Series.

Tied for best book in the Order of the Centurion

Richard Fox's writing and Luke Daniels' narration is an unbeatable combo. Just started getting into Fox's work after finishing the Order of the Centurion books so imagine my pleasant surprise when I check my email and see Fox wrote an OotC book. Thanks to his experience with his own sci-fi series (The Ember War) his work feels right at home in the Galaxy's Edge. I found myself quickly getting attached to characters and getting very invested in the story as it went along.

Luke Daniels' narration is always top tier, his range of voices is impressive and his reading only furthers my immersion.

This book easily ties for first place in the OotC series for me, the book it shares first place with being the very first one. I genuinely feel lucky that I got to experience this author crossover.

This story is not really fitting into the series

It does not actually have the actions of the other books. It is not about the legion either.
