About this listen

Maggie Winthrop doesn't believe in time travel any more than she believes in comic-book heroes or the tooth fairy. So when the naked man appears in her backyard, saying he's come from the future to prevent a global catastrophe, Maggie doesn't buy it - despite the spark of attraction between them. But when the handsome stranger accurately predicts things no one could possibly guess, Maggie starts to doubt everything she knows to be true. Suddenly, the pair is thrown into a desperate battle to ward off a future filled with disaster, and second chances for true love come at a very steep price.

I love this book. It's one of my favorite Suzanne Brockmann novels. It's got it all, romance, action, suspense and sci-fi. It's one of those that I can read several times and not get tired of.

One of my favorites.

Would you listen to Time Enough for Love again? Why?

I probably would not listen to it again because it wasn't one of my all time favorites.

What other book might you compare Time Enough for Love to and why?

It's similar to other time travel books, but the time travel theory thing worked a little different in a few ways. The love story was nice, not too steamy.

Have you listened to any of Susan Boyce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The performance was good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it was not one that I couldn't put down.

Enjoyable book with nice love story.

Only in fiction, would a single woman living alone open her back door to a naked man. I enjoy fiction, so I kept listening, found the story ran hot and cold. Too much time trying to explain how the hero traveled in time, not enough character information on the heroine to make the trip worth it. A bit too sweet, too Harlequin Romance, so when I dozed off it was not worth the effort to backup to listen to the parts I missed. The story had the feel of an abridged book. Feel sorry for the characters, they should be given a second chance in a better story. If you are traveling, cleaning house and just need voices in your head, this will do. The narrator was easy to listen too.

Too Sweet to Sallow

I really liked this book...maybe because Suzanne Brockmann rights such great characters. I only got this book because it was one of the few I had not heard/read of Suzanne Brockmann and it sat on my iPhone for a lone time before I listened to it.

In fact it took awhile even listening to the first chapter (because I agree with another reviewer...what woman in her right mind would open a door to a naked guy claiming to be a time traveler.

But once I got past that part I was sucked into the story and loved the ending (didn't know how it was going to end so I loved that).

This book is not indicative of Suzanne Brockmann's usual story lines but it does show her storyline and character development. Unforgiven is another book that I enjoyed that is out of my "usual" reading choices by Suzanne.

Don't start with this book as your first Suzanne Brockmann but start with any of the Troubleshooters (they all can stand alone)...but warning...starting with one Troubleshooter you will want to listen to them all! Then make your way back to this book.

Don't Like Sci-Fi/Paranormal...but

But thoroughly entertaining. This is only the second Susanne Brockmann book I've listened to. I honestly enjoyed listening to it, but there were times when the whole "Charles" "Chuck" and "Charlie" left me a tad confused. It also seemed to drag and bog down in some places. All in all it was worth buying and I'll probably listen to it again.

A bit slow

The story moved at a great pace. I loved the conflict between the two Charles!

Great short story!

I have really enjoyed this new twist in Suz's writing - science fiction/paranormal. It is still her writing, but the plots are interesting. I loved it!
