Publisher's summary

If you want to learn how to stop procrastinating, being unproductive, and having a poor sense of time management, keep reading to find out more about the procrastination cure!

Procrastination is one of the most well-known issues that humans have. For as long as humans have been around, they have been faced with the habit of delaying, avoiding, and procrastinating on different issues. During humans' more productive moments, when they figure out temporarily how to stop procrastinating, they feel satisfied and accomplished. But those moments don't last forever.

You need to know that there exists a way to stop the procrastination problem--a cure that will help you have more productive moments than avoiding them.

What is motivation? Why do we feel totally paralyzed to do certain things and utterly unable to quit others? Too many people conclude, falsely, that they are just lazy or lacking in willpower. But what they lack is a correct understanding of motivation and the way that it operates.

This audiobook is a self-help manual and a rigorous analysis of the psychology of motivation. It will teach you to stop procrastinating, kick your addictions, circumvent laziness, take control of your actions, and achieve your goals by thoroughly understanding the way your mind works.

Here, you'll discover:

  • Which types of procrastination exist and how to beat them

Really nice audiobook

Good audiobook. There are very good point of views. I liked very much the meditation section and I also liked the final metaphor. I think that there are subjects that need to be more deepened, like the principles section.

However, it was a good audiobook, I would recommend it. Thanks

Excellent

This is an EXCELLENT audiobook. Mr. David Robbins is wise, and clearly has done his homework. There are useful, actionable techniques, and innovative, positive ways of resolving issues throughout the guide. I'm still working on the many exercises, and will be referring back to this valuable guide.

horrible narrator and editor

one narrator is horrible. leaves out s's and doesnt prononce t's, makes up words that are not there, leaves out words that are there. mispronounces so many words. how is this not caught in the editing process? how am i the only one that was distracted when all of this was happening? what a waste of his parts of the book. i now have to find the pdf and read his sections myself. He was talking about anger issues and i was angry the whole time he was attempting to read! the rest of the narrators sounded like adult professionals at least. This guy sounded like i did when i was five trying to read in front of the class

Motivational pick me up!

This is a good guide to learn and watch to understand procrastination (which does not go but can be reduced). In my view, in such topics there are habits and nature of the person which has to be changed / modified and nothing is learned at first go. So you need to watch (and understand) again & again, learn and then reflect & implement in your life, AND thus listening these audiobooks makes that possible.

Very nice

Easy to understand, very pleased with the guidance, motivation, advice and suggestions given. It is not boring. Gets straight to the point of the topic and does not linger on with unnecessary talk.
