Really informative

I liked this book on a kind way to discipline and not feed into the negative actions of kids! Highly recommend!

well thought out

this book covers many great ways to assist with difficult children and teens. it is very much the approach of how to work with your own child or one you are primarily responsible for. I went through this book and realized how good I have it with my own child, and that it offers very little on how to interact with problem children in public forums, especially if you're not their direct guardian. I work in public service and was looking for something a little different, but this book was worth the read to gain a better understanding of the nurtured heart approach to parenting.

One of the best parenting techniques out there

I’ve tested many techniques and this is by far my favorite. I just love the emphasis on positive. The three stands and the fact that there are consequences or resets. The pause technique is so essential to life.

Important content for struggling parents of strong willed kids

Important insights. I didn’t like the author reading the book as he sounded really boring, and it was really easy to tune him out. He should maybe have another doctor who has a more lively presence read the audio book for him.

I would have liked to see more examples listed but it did give me perspective on how to handle my child better . Definitely a good book to listen to, and would recommend to any lost or first time parents that need help in communicating effectively to their child.
