The first book in the best-selling series that has garnered over a million fans across the globe. On October 1st, the anniversary of the first murder, The MAINEiac resurfaces, killing someone special from Prescott’s past. These are fun!

Well plotted with a unique hero and unusual characters.. Not quite as witty as Carol Hiaasen, but similar. I’m delighted I tried these from audible plus—download them all while they are free! Well done mysteries, perfect for vacation reading.

❤ Fantastic author

I love the uniqueness of Nick Pirog's books. He mixes wonderful humor with serious stories giving his writing quirky twist.

This is my second series of his books but has yet to fail to intrigue me and make me snicker all in one sentence.

Great story, compelling and well written its not for everybody. There are some gruesome part making it inappropriate for the youngsters or the squish. Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend.

Hold on for one Hell of a Ride!!!

once I started The Unforseen, I couldn't stop listening. The story starts and unrelentingly never lets you go. Nick Pirog has captured such a character in Prescott that you can't help but relate and have little options but ride the wave till its inevitable crash... Wow....

every beautiful woman wants him in bed (eyes roll)

Plot is okay, though the number of times woman who are known to be at risk are allowed to wander off and get killed or abducted earns a C in believably. A truly irritating aspect of the story is the middle-aged (or older) main character that every young and beautiful woman wants in her bed - regardless of how badly he treats them. Lost track of how many times my eyes rolled.

Surprisingly comical while keeping the tension tight

This was fun to listen to. It had all the makings of a thrilling mystery with a dose of humor that helped move the story along and keep it realistic. I will be reading more of Nick Pirog’s books.

Laughing on the way up and horrified on the way to the end. Couldn’t stop listening. Great narration going to go for seconds.

This mystery story teller is even better because of the humorous approach, add the perfect voice of narrator and you have a winner.

Thriller with a twist!

Loved the story and the narrator, but especially loved the touch of humor. I've never laughed out loud reading/hearing a suspense/thriller novel before. Thank you!

Quirky!

The main character has the libido and emotional maturity of a junior high schooler. As far as the story goes, it’s a pretty good one. It’s fairly typical of the serial killer genre, with a little twist. The narrator’s reading took a little to get used to but in the end was appropriate for the main character.
