New York Times best-selling author Larissa Ione tempts you into the darkly irresistible world of Demonica, populated by angels and demons, shifters and humans, all with a thirst that must be quenched....

When a wave of violence that hits too close to home forces shape-shifter and underworld nurse Vladlena Paskelkov to go undercover, her first stop is a haven of vice - with a dangerously sexy vamp in charge....

Legendary, and jaded, Nathan Sabine is the manager of Thirst, a wildly popular vampire club - and secret underground blood arena. But Nathan, a rare daywalker, possesses other even more explosive secrets, as does his beautiful new medic, Vladlena. The one thing they can't conceal is the lust that simmers between them....

Now, in an underworld divided by revelry and violence, debauchery and vengeance, Nate and Lena will discover which risks are worth taking - and which desires demand surrender....

Great series.

Short but good. Performance would have been a 5 star if the male character would have been narrated by a male, not bad though. Justine Eyre is a very good narrator.

Great Story

Loved this book just as much as I did the Dominica series. I wish the story was just a little longer. 😊😋

Good quick listen

There isn't much to this story, simple plot no real character development, but it is a novella, so that is not uncommon. It can be listened to as a stand-alone even though it is connected to a larger series. Justine Eyre is fantastic with her narration, as usual.

Meh

I am a big fan of this series but this book was just ok for me. Maybe it was too short. Not sure. I liked the characters. I liked the plot. But it just didn’t come together for me.

The dumbest of the dumb B**ches!

Ugggh this could've been so good if not for how stupid and weak Vladlina was. I always liked her in other books, but in this she just seems stupid and weak af!

There's a really robust story in this that shouldn't have been a novella. It was worthy of a full length book. I think if it were longer, maybe she wouldn't have seemed so stupid and weak. If there were time for her to walk and make H chase her she probably would've redeemed herself.

I do really love the foundation and backstory in this though. It'd be an awesome spin off series.
