About this listen

Cultivation is all fun and games.

Until someone kills Merlin.

Apparently, the only logical response to this fairly important change to Arthurian lore is for me to be reincarnated into Dark Age Cornwall. But don't worry, I have an absolute understanding of feudal power dynamics, Qi cycling, and anti-Saxon spell flinging.

Oh, I also lie a lot.

There's just the smallest chance that our timeline is doomed.

I never thought an Arthurian adventure could make my laugh quite so much! This book was brilliantly written, and performed spectacularly! On to book 2!

Non stop action and humor!

The banter is funny, the movie references and nerd references are funny… The story is good, very well done and I already bought the second one. Will
be listening to that next.

Hilarious Arthurian fun

The main character was extremely like-able and well written. The story was both familiar in its characters but gives its own take on the mythology. Lastly, the narrator was superb. The author should be very proud of their work.

Phenomenal first entry into this timeline

I thought the premise was very creative. The setting of King Arthur and Merlin was not one that I would have anticipated. The MC employed the HWFWM strategy of confusion through random references. The humor was on the irreverent side of things. This was a cultivation novel with an OP MC. The narration was good.

Good start

This book is, to summarise it in three words, very good fun. The main character is sympathetic, the author's take on some historical figures is interesting, and the snark and wholy inappropriate modern references are fun without getting annoying. I eagerly await book 2.

Arthurian cultivation? Oh, my!
