For fans of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and Life After Life, a poignant genre-bending debut novel about a man and woman who must discover why they continue to meet in different versions of their lives—a thrilling and imaginative exploration of the infinite forms of love and how our choices can change everything.

Thora and Santi have met before.

Two strangers in a foreign city, Thora and Santi meet in a chance encounter. At once, they recognize in each other a kindred spirit - someone who is longing for more in life than the cards they’ve been dealt. Before their friendship can blossom, though, a tragic accident cuts their story short.

They will meet again.

But this is only one of the many connections they share. Like satellites trapped in orbit around each other, Thora and Santi will find each other again: as husband and wife; teacher and student; caretaker and patient; cynic and believer. In recurring lifetimes they become friends, partners, lovers, and enemies.

Only they can make sure it’s not for the last time.

As strange patterns and blurred memories compound, Thora and Santi come to a shocking revelation. They must work together to discover the true reason behind their repeating realities...before their many lives come to one, final end.

slow start, but intriguing finish

I enjoyed this on my way to and from work each day. By the last few chapters, I haven't stopped listening. It took a minute to feel the vibe of the story, but once I did, I was sucked it.

Intriguing

This wasn't a page turner for me, but kept me interested. I couldn't guess where it was going, but when it was revealed, it made sense and was believable. It got a little heavy and depressing in the middle dealing with so many deaths and not knowing where it was leading, but every life was unique and interesting and made you invested in them.

Extraordinary

Kristin Atherton is an extraordinary narrator and Catriona Silvey has a beautiful writing style. At times, the story was confusing and didn't seem to be going anywhere, but I couldn't stop listening. I felt rewarded at the end, which was surprising but made total sense. I recommend this book to everyone.

Disappointing end

I really liked the story and looking forward to seeing how the writer was going to wrap it up. Unfortunately a SF ending was not at all something I saw coming or expected, disappointing to see a good book end in this way.

How dare she…

I’m not a cryer at all and this destroyed me. The narrator was absolutely excellent. Her accents were so lovable. The story was a little challenging to follow at times but it was well done. I couldn’t stop wanting to listen.

Not What I Expected

As I listened, I thought I knew where the activity was taking place. The characters were well drawn, they were multidimensional. The story carried me through to the very end, which was not what I expected, I will be happy to recommend this book to friends and family.

Can you ever know every side of a person?

Can you ever know every side of a person?
How many lives would it take to understand every facet? This story allows two individuals to explore just that..

I loved everything about this book! While the beginning was a bit slow, each echo of the lives that unfold are critical to the complexity of this fascinating story. Stick with it, the pacing picks up, with a phenomenal thought provoking ending. :)
