For fans of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and Life After Life, a poignant genre-bending debut novel about a man and woman who must discover why they continue to meet in different versions of their lives—a thrilling and imaginative exploration of the infinite forms of love and how our choices can change everything.

Thora and Santi have met before.

Two strangers in a foreign city, Thora and Santi meet in a chance encounter. At once, they recognize in each other a kindred spirit - someone who is longing for more in life than the cards they’ve been dealt. Before their friendship can blossom, though, a tragic accident cuts their story short.

They will meet again.

But this is only one of the many connections they share. Like satellites trapped in orbit around each other, Thora and Santi will find each other again: as husband and wife; teacher and student; caretaker and patient; cynic and believer. In recurring lifetimes they become friends, partners, lovers, and enemies.

Only they can make sure it’s not for the last time.

As strange patterns and blurred memories compound, Thora and Santi come to a shocking revelation. They must work together to discover the true reason behind their repeating realities...before their many lives come to one, final end.

slow start, but intriguing finish

I enjoyed this on my way to and from work each day. By the last few chapters, I haven't stopped listening. It took a minute to feel the vibe of the story, but once I did, I was sucked it.

Captivating

This book surprised me on every turn, every chapter holding something new and unexpected. The ending couldn’t have been further from where I thought it would end up, but I really loved it. I felt like I was on a brand new journey of life with Santi and Thora. Absolutely stunning read; I am so glad I chose to listen to the Audible version!

Push through the first half, the plot get's good

I won't lie, I was not sure where this book was going. Groundhog day? A bunch of short stories of alternate versions? Since I was listening to it while driving I'm not sure if it was half way or 2/3 of the way through that you figure something out. Then I was in.
I enjoyed the way that the characters change, and grow. I thought that it was a unique plot, I have at least not read anything exactly like this.

Beautiful story

Beautiful surprising story, middle part a bit drawn out, repetitive. Enjoyed it nevertheless. Great narration.

Interesting, melodramatic, plot twist

I was certainly intrigued for most of the story, although the melodrama was overwhelming at times. The end was a bit of a let down after so much much detail and emotion.

Captivated. ignore the negative reviews

I really enjoyed this story and the idea put into it. I feel like anyone who didn't like the book is just impatient and just wanted the story to go the way they wanted it to if that makes any sense. I say ignore the negative reviews and read and keep an open mind and don't be impatient.
It kept my attention the entire time. Yes, it may "drag" to some people but all of it is important to the story. I feel like you need those details, it makes the story. I found myself already wanting to reread it before it ended. The characters were great and the narrator did a fantastic job. ill check out the authors other books.

Intriguing

This wasn't a page turner for me, but kept me interested. I couldn't guess where it was going, but when it was revealed, it made sense and was believable. It got a little heavy and depressing in the middle dealing with so many deaths and not knowing where it was leading, but every life was unique and interesting and made you invested in them.
