I turned off the computer and put aside other things just to focus on this podcast. She takes a novel approach to the topic, ...to put it bluntly... she effin kicks ass! I love it and will definitely be coming back for more.

Completely opposite of what I expected.

I have lost so much people because I never put boindaries, and then use the excuse that they were toxic for me. After listening to this o wonder how many great people I would have in my life if I would have set some boundaries.

What a fantastic episode about setting boundaries. With working in a call center, I deal with all sorts of people. Every day I'm done working I find my energy depleted. I end up sleeping two or more hours each day, which takes away from what is most important to me, which is spending time with my family. I allow toxic behavior to drain me mentally, which drains me physically. I'm told by management I need to volunteer certain information about myself that I'm not comfortable with sharing in order to make customers who call in feel closer to the people they speak with in the company. After listening to this, I've learned I need to set boundaries by speaking up and letting them know it's not a topic of discussion. I always wear my heart on my sleeve, so when people call in irate, I'm emotionally offended and never set a boundary as I've always been afraid to set my boundary. Now, I realize saying no is saying yes to me. Thank you Mel!

OMG - this is boundaries made easy. I'm a people pleaser for sure, have struggled to set boundaries, this really breaks it down. Also I love the way she reframed toxic people, genius.

Must have for boundaries
