Publisher's summary

Are you tired of your future stupid self?

Learn how to tame it!

Our future selves are obstinate in repeating the same errors every single time. In this book, I will describe some elements in ourselves that contribute to what I call the “stupidity factor” of our future selves. I will present some tips and techniques that you can use for taming that incorrigible future self to be less…stupid. Because when you realize that your future self is still you, you will most likely behave the same way your present self behaves in the future. And that’s an advantage because the future self will never magically change or surprise you with new behaviors, and that’s a fact!

In this book, you will:

  • Learn about our unknown self (a.k.a. the black box) and the importance of starting looking inside ourselves to figure out what triggers our behaviors
  • Understand how to avoid weaponizing our mouths because the words that come out of them reflect our inner selves
  • Hear about the importance of uncovering our hidden mines
  • Discover our parents we bear inside and the realization that they influence our behaviors and values
  • That our future stupid self is still ourselves, and the only way to prevent repeating behaviors or actions that hurt our relationships is through our present self
  • And much more!

Good tools. This book matters.

I now have tools to improve my communication that I didn’t have before. I can give myself empathy for the times I’ve made mistakes and remind myself that I’m human. Now that I know better, it is my responsibility to practice. I understand letting go of my past mistake, and love the perspective this book gave me. This book is a brilliant way to enhance your relationships in all areas of life, and most crucially, with yourself.

This makes you believe in the human spirit again! Whatever you are seeking, whatever the question, this book is the answer. Well recommend.

Great listen for anyone who want to improve

This book is a quick and to-the-point listen that will help you help improve yourself. The way it laid out the information in a nice way and how we can get stuck in a frame of thinking. Great performance on the book, and the writing was terrific. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a well-written and great performance.

You Are Unique!

Our beliefs are stored in our brains. Human beings are unique, and we all interpret the same events differently. Our unknown self, also known as our "Black Box", is something within that we need to change if we ourselves intend to change.

This well-narrated book is also well produced and makes a lot of sense. Knowing yourself will reduce the stupidity factor that this audiobook speaks about. This is the main core of the book and once you have listened to it all the way through, you will understand yourself a heck of lot more..

Very Inspiring and Empowering Listen

The topic of this audiobook is one of the most needed yet complicated issues as it relates to self image and improving relationships. I appreciate that the author presented this topic in such a way that is helpful, yet revealing and inspiring at the same time. What I like about this audiobook is that it has very solid helpful guides, tips and advices on healthy relationships versus unhealthy relationships and finding a way to improve on the relationships. It's not only organized but it's also structured and engaging as well. Overall it's a great resource and a Must Listen.

Really interesting listen!

I love the way the author is so matter-of-fact about the ways we trip ourselves up. It's provocative to use the word "stupid," which is triggering for a lot of people, but it's the right word. I think people who listen to this will avoid a lot of stupid mistakes. Really impressive book. Great narrator too.

This Book understands my heart!

Understanding letting go of my past mistakes, not obsessing on the things "I wish I had done differently" in the past has been a hurt and hang-up of mine. I love the perspective this book gave me. I am content with my present self! I can really say that I feel more capable now to make the changes I want to make for my future self to get what I so desire out of life!
