After 200 years of holding on to the leadership position among all of the councils, obviously the Vestibulum isn't going to give up anything to anyone. Stand on It, book 6: Once again, Sean's home has been attacked by one of the Councils, only this time they've committed what they hoped would be an overwhelming force.

In his junior year at college, the only things on Sean's mind are doing his homework and getting out of college to get a real job. While Troy appreciates the promotion, especially now that he can no longer work as a scout because he's married, he's not exactly sure what skills he has that Steve will find useful.

Life for Dan Westridge used to be easy. Used to be. His father was once one of the richest men in the City of Sacramento. So what if his parents never had time for him? Made him work weekends and after school? Only allowed him to date the "right" kind of women? He still had a pretty easy life.

It's not a bad world, as things ago, he has a big and loving family, but there is the ongoing "war" that promises to be on-going for a good many years to come. Raised to the blade by his mother, and taught not only her ways as well as a good many of the ways of her people, but also the ways of his father's other wives, as well as the ways of his magic, Mihalis has had a very thorough education.

Sean's spent the last 16 years of his life using his powers in a never-ending quest of exacting vengeance while saving the lives of innocent victims. The problem however, is that's all Sean has been doing. Forced to hide who and what he is from the world, Sean's life has become a fairly meaningless existence. But after an unexpected weekend with a rather willing woman, Sean suddenly realizes that there's a lot more to life than an endless stream of criminals and vengeance. It's time to let someone else punish the guilty. It's time to start enjoying life.

The Auction House is running well now with the help of Biggs, and the issues and other problems there are on the wane, which means it's now time to set about making Bartertown his as well. He's got a plan, he's got his sisters to help him, and he's also got his wives who are already starting to pull together as a family and figure out what their roles are going to be in helping him run all of this.

With family friend Steve Bryson sworn in as the new President, Troy can finally go home and have that great big party... Err, wedding! Still, Troy's happy; he's got four of the most wonderful women in the world and knows better than to question the circumstances that got him here. However, the big question now is: What next?

Having taken the Auction House in Bartertown, Mihalis must now keep it. Thankfully, five of his sisters, who recently unlocked their 'cubi aspects, have come to help. All of them are members of the self-styled 'Sisters of Steel', and Alska, their leader, is with them. He's feeling good about the situation, as they're all experienced warriors.er eastward, you might just want to head in the opposite direction. However, this still leaves him with other problems.

Unlike his brother SJ who wants to run things for their dad, or Mihalis who looks like he's about to stake his own claim on an outlaw city, Troy Valens just wants to have a good time. Having developed a well deserved reputation for partying, playing pranks, telling jokes and being something of a 'class clown', he's come to a point in his life when he realized that he needed to prove that he could be taken seriously.

Several years have passed since the war with the djevels ended, the reality they'd infested was destroyed, and their king killed. But that left Sean and the lions faced with another problem: the million or so djevels currently in the world that needed to be hunted down and killed. Part of the solution was to fence in the biggest area that was infested to stop them from spreading any further, while teams began hunting down the ones that had escaped. It's not an easy job, but it's a lot easier than the previous one by far.

Over Our Heads, Book 3: Sean's still up to his neck in trouble, but at least he's finally found an example of his father's work, along with all of his notes. Now all Sean has to do is figure out not only how to reproduce his father's greatest achievement, but to solve the one problem his father wasn't able to. Head Down, Book 4: Things are starting to look up for Sean: he has a safe place to stay, allies, way too many wolves, and a couple of dangerously cute werefoxes around as well.

The Valens Legacy: Publisher's Pack 4 contains books seven and eight in The Valens Legacy series, following Sean in the world of the supernatural. In Vegas Rules, fresh from his victory in Reno, Sean's now in Las Vegas has to fulfill his promise to help the lycans there with their own slavery problems. Things are starting to heat up for Sean and for some of his allies in Desperate Measures. When several of the councils decide to ban together in a move to eradicate him and his followers, Sean has no choice other than teach them a painful lesson.

Mihalis finds himself in a new situation—one in which all of the training he's received growing up isn't helping him to cope as much as he'd hoped. He's angry. He's never truly been angry before in his life, and the anger he's dealing with isn't even coming from him! It's coming from the djevels. His lion side, he's discovered, is far less affected by it than his dark elf, which only makes sense when you consider his dark elf heritage. If he wants to pull himself back together, he needs to understand just what he's dealing with and how to manage it.

Up until now, Sean has only been fighting battles. He's been fighting them against the demons coming through temporary gates, demonically backed agencies, magic users, or even just plain crazies. But now, now the war, the real war, is about to start as the date for the main gateway, which will be open for two years, draws near. A gateway through which millions of demons will be coming to conquer the world.

Sean's found himself trapped in the realm of the demons, and he's also found a mystery there as well - a lioness. How and why she's there, and if she'll help him, he doesn't know yet. But if anyone knows the lay of the land, the demons, and how to get out of there, he figures it would have to be her.

Growing up the eldest son of Sean Valens wasn't always easy–and it wasn't always fun–but when your father/son bonding moments consist of going out to blow things up and kill djevels together, you really don't have a lot to complain about.
