In Hollywood it's not about what you know, but who you know. Norah Wintry is finding that out. You try running a talent agency full of wizards and shifters. Oh my. Who she knows is starting to pay off when she goes looking for answers about who, or what, is trying to sabotage her clients. But LaLa Land operates on a pecking order. Will anyone tell her what she wants to know, or will they run her in circles? One thing is for sure. No one wants to reveal who UrbanWurm is or where he is. Too risky. And it's more than a juicy role that's on the line.

Winland Underwood is trying to hide in plain sight. Not easy for a witch with a storied past. The wards and the crystal are back up and running. The residents of East Calico Rock are protected, and the town is safe once again. What does that mean for Winland Underwood? Next on the to-do list is to look for the Custodian, Hector Fang. And if she finds him, ask about her long-dead mother. Like, is she really dead? What else does he know about the magical history of the town?

Things are finally looking up for Winland Underwood. East Calico Rock is safe, Erickson and his thugs are behind bars, and Hector Fang is turning out to be exactly what she needed. For the first time in her life, all her training with the Old Fixer may not apply. Until it does . . .

Winland Underwood may have met her match. Is Fang a friend or foe? Even his arctic fox is more than she seems, and Winland's getting mixed signals. From everywhere. Now she's one step closer to tracking down the warrior witch, and the good-looking Wizard at her side is only too eager to help. Winland Underwood wasn't gone long from East Calico Rock, but a lot has changed. The least of which is the citizens were able to capture the Silver Griffin traitor, Erickson, without her. But more refugees keep arriving, and the town is expanding. Erickson wasn't the only threat to everyone's safety. Can the young witch leave them alone while she searches for her mother? Or will a hidden menace move in while she's gone?

The rules for monster hunting are changing fast and that's not the only thing that's different. The Ambrosius Clan militia are taking on paying clients. What happened to taking down monsters for the sake of humanity? Halsey and Brigham aren't sure, but that isn't going to stop them from taking on this mission and heading to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey.

Everything is changing. It's the last semester of junior year for the Elemental, Sophie Briggs and her friends at The School of Roots and Vines. But will it be for better or worse? Things are heating up in LaLa Land. Nothing makes tongues wag faster than rumors of a cursed movie set. These aren't special effects. Someone or something magical is at play. The attacks on suppliers of Pink Fairy continue. Norah needs to track down who's responsible and put an end to the problems for good. Domenico is safely hidden away deep below the surface of the Ocean, but Norah can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. She needs to get information about what's going on and the best way to get information about Domenico is to ask a bunch of criminals. That's easier said than done.

In East Calico Rock, there's always one more emergency to be handled by Winland Underwood. Unfortunately, this time the emergency is her mother. Just when Winland thought her mom was starting to settle into life in the refugee town, danger strikes once again. This time, Winland and the crimson heart are strong enough together to deal with it themselves. But are the consequences of Winland's new power too much for Leeland to handle?

Winland Underwood was right! Her mother is alive, rescued, and returned to the Ozark kemana. The Warrior Witch may be back, but the mother-daughter reunion Winland dreamed of isn't what it's cracked up to be. Especially now that they're both dealing with the fallout.

Norah Wintry is on the run, but not for long. She has a plan to free all those brainwashed by Magdea and restore Frondle's memories. She's gonna need a little help. Sea monsters are on the beach and creating havoc for magicals and mundanes alike. Is this Magdea's work or the Deep Queen's? They'll have to find out before they can put an end to this for good.

Halsey and Brigham Ambrosius' task in the English countryside isn't quite over. The barghest may have been slain, but they have one task remaining. Figure out what happened to the people in the abandoned village of Coningsby. Frankly, the mission isn't over until they clean up the barghest's mess because we all know, Halsey always completes her missions. It's a good thing the copper orb can help heal the locals from what was a deadly monster poison. But how to do it covertly without letting civilians know who or what Haley is? What else can the orb do?

All families have their secrets. The Ambrosius Clan has more than most and they're keeping information from people in their own family. Halsey and Brigham have just about had enough. So has Greta. We're only as sick as our secrets. It's time for some truths to be revealed, no matter who doesn't want the cousins to find out what's really happening. Will they be able to put all the pieces together and figure out what role the Order of Skrár is playing in all of it?

The Gorafrex thinks it has the advantage now that it’s captured Laura and taken down a sister. It couldn’t be more wrong. Nathan is done taking a backseat when it comes to the Hadstrom sisters’ legacy. Time to help Emily and Nickie out so they can track down Laura and get her back. It won’t be easy. The girls better have plans A, B, and C ready like any good witch. Will the Hadstrom sisters be able to follow clues back to the source of their rings and the entire family legacy? Will they be able to get their sister back?

Norah tries to get to the set to locate Frondle but is barred at the gate and given an unceremonious exit. Someone doesn't want her getting too close. Good thing she's not the only one trying. You knew our favorite witch had more than one plan. Will Cleo get in and get the answers? Is there something sinister going on with the movie? Norah needs to prepare for whatever is coming their way from this film. It hasn't gone unnoticed that even the magical community is going onset and coming out brainwashed.

Nothing is ever what it seems in LaLa Land. Throw in magic and it's a new level of weird and dangerous. Production has finished on the action film, FULL FATHOM FIVE. It's up to magical talent agent, Norah and the Wintry's Warriors to destroy all copies of the film to prevent Magdea's chaos from spreading further. Norah's going to have to call in all her favors, and then some, to discover where other prints are hidden. That won't be easy. Frondle's brainwashing may be permanent. Will magical intervention do the trick? Dr. Orlando thinks he can fix him, but it won't be without side effects.
