Commander David Bryce is scheduled to lead a routine re-supply run for the Orbital Development Group (ORB) to the fledgling colony on Mars. Without warning, he’s taken away by government agents and told the mission parameters have changed. They’ve discovered something. And it’s drifting closer to Earth. Atlas Donovan tirelessly hunts for an artifact, and tracks the piece to Lake Como, Italy. After the recent news from ORB, Atlas is more drawn to the trail than ever.

Commander David Bryce returned from his mission, successful, with a derelict alien ship that wasn’t as empty as predicted. With the assistance of an old ally, David is hell-bent on stopping the invasion before it begins. There’s just one problem; the Signal is hidden somewhere on Earth. Atlas Donovan is the only man capable of helping them, and it’s unclear whether he can trust the ORB employees. One thing is clear: Aliens have been to Earth, and from the looks of it, not just a single race. There were two.

After an epic battle, the weapon is lost, but Atlas won’t succumb so easily. He’s vanished with the key to humanity’s survival, and David Bryce is left to fight on his own. Atlas finds himself in the middle of a hornet’s nest, amid an alien people that he can hardly comprehend.
