FROM MILLION-COPY BESTSELLER JASPER T. SCOTT

2069: EARTH IS DYING, AND SOCIETY IS ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE

We are out of time to save the planet. All that’s left is to watch the world burn, but the apocalypse is about to take an unexpected twist.

Alice Rice has discovered the impossible: a potentially habitable world in close proximity to Earth. The media is calling it Planet B.

PEOPLE ARE DISAPPEARING

Detective Layla Bester was about to marry the love of her life when she learned that he slept with her best friend. Now, she’s alone and starting over in the once great city of New York. But the world has more than enough troubles to make hers feel small, and a new one has just been added: People are vanishing, and no one knows where they’re being taken.

AND A WAR IS BREWING

Meanwhile, Billionaire Preston Baylor is leading the race to reach Planet B, but competing space programs are heating up political tensions and driving superpowers ever closer to war.

Climatologist Bruce Gordon believes an incomprehensibly powerful species sent Planet B to us, but who are our mysterious saviors, why are they hiding, and what do they want? As time goes by, it becomes clear that even if their intentions were good, our own self-destructive natures could be all it takes to wipe us out.

Planet B is an apocalyptic thriller by million-copy bestseller, Jasper T. Scott. If you liked Under the Dome by Stephen King, or Maze Runner by James Dashner, then this book is for you.

Wormhole adventure

It is an interesting lrimice, but might work as a series. It only poses questions and does not wrsp up, preparing for more.too many relationship councidences.

Very original and very entertaining

I enjoyed listening to this book and wasn't swayed by no reviews being posted. I like James Patrick Cronin narration and have read Jasper T. Scott stories before This story was original and I enjoyed the characters. I didn't feel as though the story was predictable and liked all the different directions it went. I do have to give James Patric Cronin a 4.5 on narration this time because i felt some of the times that when a situation needed more emotion, he fell flat. It changed my enjoyment of the story just a bit. Can't wait for the next one.

Awesome

Found this on a whim! Definitely a mind bender and a story I have not heard before. The characters are all intriguing and have decent back stories.

Good stupidity?

I finished the book, so there's that. The narrator did an excellent job. I have to wonder if he sometimes thought to himself, really!?!
The premise of the story is very interesting, and what drove me to purchase it. I grant that the author made each character believable, and most of them likable. I just couldn't help from being frustrated by some of the stupid things said and done by them.
I spent the middle to the end of the book saying why, why are you doing that, and nooooo.
At this point, I don't think I will get the next book. It's possible I may change my mind as part of me is still curious how things will turn out. I'm just not sure I would be happy with that decision if the stupidity continues.
Get at the risk of your own frustration?

Yet another great book by Jasper T. Scott

Planet B is yet another great book by Jasper T. Scott. This book contains engaging characters who experience multiple mysteries and revelations. Partially a dystopian novel, we find an Earth wracked by ecological disaster. A planet appears (the titular "Planet B") that holds promise as humanity's refuge from a dying world. How Earth's inhabitants get to Planet B is twofold. What they find defies elaboration without spoilers. The resolution is eminently satisfying. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Interesting tale

Cliffhanger and no book two.
A lot of fantasy environments.
I thought the characters seemed much younger than they were. Not a lot of maturity or thought, just liked breaking rules and being spontaneous.
It seemed rather unique however so I gave it four stars.
