Ellie Elm loves her job, country music, and the taste of tequila. She hates thunderstorms and mice. But most of all she hates how much her rival Scott Woods gets under her skin. He’s arrogant, rude, and his eyes are the most infuriating shade of blue she’s ever seen.

When the opportunity to participate on a home renovation show arises, Ellie is excited at the chance to showcase her work and hopefully, expand her business. That is until she learns that she’s going to co-host the show with Scott Woods. But as the project progresses, Ellie and Scott find themselves doing a lot more than just putting up drywall, painting trim, and picking out cabinets. In fact, the more time they spend together, Ellie has to face the truth: maybe she and Scott work better as a team.
