Publisher's summary

Things can get hard with a mermaid so wet…

Nate Hartwell has a passion for exploration and a dream to sail around the world. Unfortunately, he's also flat broke, and the meanest old man in town holds a lien on his boat. But no law or locked gate can keep a resourceful man like Nate from his quest.

As he travels the globe on his stolen ship, Nate lives a life of adventure, dodging bounty hunters and enjoying spectacular sights and amazing food… all by himself. Living his dream feels hollow without someone to share it with. And he can't stop thinking about the mysterious redhead who keeps appearing in the water…

Coralie is a sexy mermaid on the run. Relentlessly pursued by dark forces from the deep, she yearns to escape the ocean's dangers. But a bad experience with a fishing net taught her that the human world is also fraught with peril. All alone without a friend or protector, there's nowhere for this coy little mermaid to hide.

When a raging storm capsizes Nate's ship at sea, a daring rescue unites the lonely man and vulnerable mermaid. But with his boat dashed on the rocks of an uncharted island, Nate is trapped with the beautiful, enigmatic girl… and all the danger she attracts.

As they work together to rebuild the ruined ship, a flirty connection becomes a deep, passionate bond between the two lost souls. And when the darkness draws near, the only chance of survival is in each other's arms…

Shipwrecked with a Mermaid is a slow-burn men's romance with action-adventure and base-building elements, plus spicy moments with an innocent, naïve mermaid eager for a sensual awakening.

It was good up until the end when the fantasy was ruined.

Mermaid romance fantasies are always ruined when they decide to make a fuss about fish anatomy. No one every considers that maybe mermaids are more mammal than fish. So when the mermaid loses the tail and just becomes a human it misses the whole point. At least the romance was cute enough that it didn’t ruin the story. Although the flowery language felt a bit much at times. Still it was fine, I just wish she stayed a mermaid.
