hot romance

This is my second read/listened from this author and she did not disappoint me. The story was hot and I actually enjoyed the storyline. The narrators did a wonderful job by bringing the characters to life. I loved both voices but have one comment on the male voice. I loved his male voice but he needed a little work on his female voice. However, his female voice did not take a way a good story. I will look more from this dual. I highly recommend!

Good story

Not the typical Alexa Riley story. It took a little bit of time for these complicated people to get close. I liked the suspense, and of course the romance.

Tink enjoying making trouble

Enjoyed the story. It flowed all the way through giving enough background. I really loved every naughty scene. Had to fan myself a couple of times.

Communication is key!

I really like this story. Becs and Bray were awesome characters and you could really relate to their feelings. There are a lot of feels in this story, so be prepared.

Bray is a gorgeous, obsessive, billionaire alpha and a virgin.

Becs (Rebecca) is a curvy, sassy bombshell from the wrong side of the tracks and a virgin.

Becs worked in the coffee shop in Bray's building. Bray would get coffee there every morning so that he could see Becs and her smile. After Becs loses her job, Bray offers her a new one, working for him. Becs and Bray have no clue that this new job will lead to complications, not to mention barely restrained desires.

Both of them needed to work on their communication skills! I wanted to smack both of them upside the head a lot! Bray's internal dialogue would have calmed some of Becs fears and feelings and vice versa. They were great together though. I liked their nicknames for each other. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book. Or listening to it!

FYI - the male narrator's voice is HOT!

Love the story - but not the Narrator

Love this story but the narrator would have done much better without trying to use that strange accent.

Cute, quick & steamy...

This is one of those listens for when your brain just needs some romance cotton candy. You go in ready to just suspend disbelief, soak up the classic romance tropes and enjoy all the feels.

DNF

Struggled to complete two chapters. The female narrator ruined it as well as the female character. The premise seemed interesting but it didn't quite make it for me. A punk/loud/obnoxious woman is more plausible for sci-fi, not a contemporary romance involving a billionaire.
And if one is struggling with paying rent, living week to week, you don't spend money on hair dye, sparkly lip gloss, etc... again, farfetched.
Bottom line- female narrator had a horrid Jersey accent. Heroine was a trashy virgin. Cringing by chapter two, it's a dnf for me.

Was This Written by a Teenager?

The two main characters were dumber than a box of rocks. I cannot believe an adult wrote this mess. The male narrator was very good, the female was absolutely horrid. If I could separate the narrators; the male would get 5 stars and the female would get zero. Halfway through the book, I skipped the chapters with the female’s annoying voice.
