About this listen

To break out of your shell, you just need to meet the right chick…

Graduate student Jon Greene thinks he has everything figured out. After dedicating himself to the study of rare and exotic birds, he's about to score his dream job as an ornithology professor and spend the rest of his life in the dull but comfortable arms of academia. But when a cold-hearted but devastatingly beautiful blonde vixen threatens to take it all away from him, Jon's entire future rides on the success of his final presentation in avian studies.

Tori Teasewing is a wild and impulsive harpy with a six-foot wingspan and an infinite lust for life. Fearless and insatiable, when this manic mythological minx wants to have fun, nothing is off limits. Nothing.

While searching for rare birds deep in the California desert, Jon finds an abandoned airport… and much more than he bargained for. The horndog harpy is roosting in the decaying terminal, and when she spots the mild-mannered scientist, it's lust at first sight. And a vivacious, curvy girl with sleek, feathery wings and taloned feet is a lonely bird-watcher's wildest dream come true.

When the skittish scientist and the feathery firecracker team up to take down the blonde bombshell and save Jon's future, their academic alliance quickly turns into a sweet and spicy romance. As Jon falls for Tori, he discovers there may be more to life than predictable routines and good grades. And Tori is surprised to develop true feelings she didn't know she could ever have for a human. But one of them is harboring a tragic secret that threatens their project, their relationship, and so much more…

A Harpy Stole my Heart is a romantic comedy for men, with screwball antics, steamy interludes, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Amazing Story

This story like the others in its series are stories that really drag you in to make you invested in the characters themselves. Ultimately I was thoroughly pleased with this unique story and the characters. I think it was well written and engaging.

Phenomenal narration that helps drive the story forward and bring the characters to life.

I would recommend this story to any fan of the genre and any who may be considering giving the genre a try.

Heaps of fun

Loads of spice and fun brought to life by Melanie Hastings.
Tori is just what can complete Jon's dull life and if you enjoy slice of life and spice you should give it a try.
Highly recomended

Amazing Story. Didn't see the ending coming, it was Awesome.

I love stories like this. A great story, not over burden with spice, but still enough to make it interesting. I have always loved the narrator as well, she did an Amazing job like always. The ending definitely caught me by surprise. I did not see it coming, which always makes it better.

Pretty good, with an annoying plot hole.

It's a decent, quick, and fun story. The characters are decent, other than the fact that the main antagonist is cartoonishly evil, which is fine, and noone likes birds THAT much (??).

My only real annoyance is, the literal first scene she (the harpy) is introduced in, she establishes the fact that she can transform between a harpy form, and a fully human form. Later, she even switches between the two in front of the main character. Then, suddenly, in the last 2 hours, it's suddenly a plot point that she's constantly stuck as a harpy form in order to get them caught, and there's no explanation, it's treated as if that's always been the case. Then, later, she "gains" the ability to transform back and forth as if it's some kind of new ability unique to her that she's never had. There was even an easy way the writer could have explained it (as something related to her current condition at the time as it worsens), but instead it's just a glaring / annoying plothole.

Again, it's still a fun, quick, potato chip style book that I'd recommend, it's just a bit annoying in that aspect.
