About this listen

An examination of adults who have been manipulated by divorcing parents.

Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) occurs when divorcing parents use children as pawns, trying to turn the child against the other parent. This book examines the impact of PAS on adults and offers strategies and hope for dealing with the long-term effects.

As a psychologist and a partner of a targeted parent, this book provided excellent overview of the cycle, long term effects, and treatment strategies of the PAS children and the targeted parents. Validating for those who have experienced PAS and educating for those of us providing clinical services. Highly recommend

Excellent resource for clinicians and the PAS victims

Thorough look on the rarely covered subject. Blew my mind. There are so many things there are connected to this syndrome that you would never even believe are relevant.

Life-changing

This was a hard read because I had to face what was done and how hard it was for me to see it in hindsight, at time it made me cry and get very angry and other times gave me hope for the future. The greatest thing that it gave me was knowledge and power to know the truth now.

I wish I knew when I was younger.

A well written book. Very good information for adults of PAS and it has useful managing techniques for targeted parents as well.

Good, worth reading, but not much that was revelatory. More research would be good which the author notes. Hopefully others build on this.

I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

I appreciate the information, which validated so much I lived through. I’m not crazy for feeling the way I’m feeling and I’m not alone in these experiences either.

Matching the narrator information with my own experiences.

This book demonizes mothers who ate the victims of PAS! It glorifies fathers. Not mine or millions of other mothers situations.

Unfair and one sided
