Story
Jonathan Heights saw sunlight once. He must see it again. At least, that’s what he claims when he charters an expedition east beyond the bounds of civilization. The Illuminated King has an abiding interest in such legends, while the Reflected Council is more interested in the treasures that they are convinced he has found, out there in the dark. The truth is shrouded and motives uncertain as Jonathan and the agents of both Crown and underworld take the airship Endeavor to the strange and exotic lands out there in the darkness.

Story
Arden was left in the village by a dying mage, who never returned. With no way out of the village on his own, he had always held onto the hope that one day his magic would awaken and give him access to his spheres. But he’s about to turn eighteen and it’s never come. Instead, he’s settled into his lot as a sarcastic and quick-witted innkeeper. That all changes one night when his old flame, who escaped the village to become a mage’s anchor, returns. Ard’s life is about to go through some dramatic changes, and he’s not ready for them.

Story
Callum had seen things all his life. There are monsters and beasts living among people, but he learned very early not to admit such things, not if he didn’t want people to think him crazy. It turns out that the supernatural is real, but at 30, Callum has no desire to be part of that secret. Not that he has a choice when it turns out he is a mage, albeit one that hasn’t cast any spells in all his life. There are requirements, duties, and education that the powers that be insist he be subject to. To hell with that.

Story
A visit to London’s Natural History Museum became a horror show as magic flooded Earth. Now, Thomas is entombed there as a Dungeon Core, with only the creatures on display available as minions. All over the globe, patches of land have been replaced by strange alien environments, containing not only monsters from myth and legend, but also humanity’s worst nightmares. Leviathans stir at the bottom of the ocean, dragons have reclaimed the skies, and shadows are once again something to fear.

Story
The usual result of a human taking a runaway semitruck head-on is a very sudden, very fast track to the pearly gates. But for one newly noncorporeal man, there's another option: become a dungeon. Feeling sorry for the desperate angel assigned to him, the man relents. Heck, if it doesn't work out, he can always chat with Saint Peter about it later. Next thing you know, he's a dungeon. Admittedly, a small run-down, somewhat unimpressive dungeon (more of a house, actually), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Syl was given a choice by Gramps when they died. Reincarnate as a regular person or embark on a daring experiment. Driven by a desire to honor Gramps and a sense of adventure, Syl chose the latter... only to awaken as a lowly slime. A farmed slime. The life of a farmed slime was cruel. Syl was constantly at the mercy of humans, a slime whose only purpose was to eat and recycle garbage. The threat of lethal core-destroying knives wielded by innocent children was a constant shadow. This was not the life Syl had envisioned. So, they made a daring escape to the wilderness!

Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

Story
Every year, the empire administers the rite of passage into adulthood. That rite serves to identify those blessed by Aether to become magi. The new magi are shipped to the academy to learn the arts of magic. The academy is a dangerous place; the tournaments held twice each year can cripple or kill the students, and the clans of the empire will go to great lengths to recruit the students they want. Gregory had one dream: to become a magi like the legends of old. Though he was ridiculed by the residents of the village and his unsupportive father, he never wavered from his dream.

The truth is shrouded and motives uncertain as Jonathan and the agents of both Crown and underworld take the airship Endeavor to the strange and exotic lands out there in the darkness.

Carl was a regular construction foreman. Not the worst, not the best, and definitely not the thinnest. Even so, he didn't deserve that heart attack! He really didn't deserve being reborn into a magic-filled, dog-eat-dog world as a dragon. To be fair, it’s nice to be at the top of the food chain. Now Carl just needs to learn how magic works, which monsters are safe to eat, and why his hoard is so important to him. Dealing with everything changing is hard enough, but he has enemy dragons incoming, hostile environments, and foes constantly trying to get bragging rights by taking down a dragon.

To Viggo, the veil was simply a landmark. Crossing it was considered suicide, and he'd never given much thought to what might lay beyond. Then, his life collapsed around him. Ejected from the military academy that was to have marked the start of his career, disowned by his family, passed over by the gods themselves, Viggo's last chance lay beyond the veil. Yet, from the very beginning, something was deeply troubling about the realm from whence the gods came. Its cities lay in ruins, its lands peopled by lunatics locked into tasks they could not escape.

Terrence Mack was born poor, grew up tough, and died hard. Waking up in a sea cave with nothing but the clothes on his back and a new bullet scar was enough to convince him that wherever his death had brought him, it wasn't paradise. His new world quickly proves to be a place of danger, magic, monsters, and - for Terry at least - women. Known on Celestine as a template, Terry's genes are key to the survival of the eldritch races. But the fiercely competitive eldritch don't typically leave their lovers alive long, and aren't accustomed to taking 'no' for an answer.

Somebody once told a joke. A man ran in place all his life. He worked a job he didn't love for people he couldn't stand. But at the end of the day, the number in his bank account went up. That man got a second chance at life. He woke up in another world, one full of adventures and romances and monsters and gods. And floating above his head, he saw the number "1". So what did he say? Glorious
I absolutely loved this story and I’m extremely grateful for the epilogues that wrapped up the story excellently! I also loved that the intimate scenes were not fade to black but they didn’t take up 70% of the meaning of the story while also showing true care and compassion for each other.

solid finish -minor useless spoiler-
the ending while seeming rushed was well paced rush that fully fit the story which is not all that common in litrpgs I've found. but some things would've been nice to atleast include in epilogue like finding a way for blue to achieve a body (or arcanatech artificial body) and end it off with a damn hug, as seriously only sexual affection as physical affection has got to suck for somany years. also would've been nice to see a bit about the trait combos/lines that were teased but discarded.

Pronunciation guides for all voice actors…
It’s pronounced “mon-TAYNE”, not “mon-TAG-nee”. That’s just the last in a long line of unfortunate incidents. It’s incredibly frustrating to get into a story groove, just to be ripped out by a pretty basic word/name being misrepresented. Overall the narration was okay, it was just tiring.

Honestly...
the story was good, though I do see a flaw with IC's MCs. They kinda never reach full power in the story and usually need other characters to complete their goals. Sometimes this isn't a problem, but Blue felt incomplete. While the story was about multiple characters, it felt more about Ansie near the end. It actually ends on her and not Blue. I wish I could write more, but I don't want to spoil the story for others.

That Time I Accidentally an Empire
I read this before it was an audiobook, and it's just as great now as it was then. There's nothing quite like watching a Dungeon bumble his way through the world of impossible magic.
