About this listen

These things we do, that others may live!

The Legion is the most elite direct-action force in the galaxy, hammering the enemies of the Republic...but some missions require a scalpel.

When radical insurgents shoot down a covert republic flight at galaxy’s edge, a nearby Legion recovery team is sent to recover the crew and keep the flight’s VIP—a doctor overseeing clandestine research and development—from falling into enemy hands. The operators of REC-Team Pelican fight the clock and struggle against criminal cartels, dangerous insurgents, and internal political strife, knowing that theirs is the duty to succeed where others might fail.

Strap in for a thrilling adventure of special operator warfare, covert intelligence, and high-stakes spy craft as REC-Team Pelican navigates a treacherous battlespace to make the rescue...no matter the cost.

Basically Legion ParaJumpers

The story was good, the action and backstories are well written and I will for sure listen to it again. Although the narrator reminds me of the iron wolves book where the guy just reads it and doesn't try to distinguish the characters voices to a point where you can tell who's talking.
Good book, needs a better voice for it.

Great plot and story, boring narrator

I really enjoyed the book, but it turned ok much longer to finish because of the tone-less nature ration. I often had to go back because I had zoned out to the narrator’s voice. It was still well worth the price!

Good times

I truly enjoy the order of the centurion stories. As a former member of the US Navy, the stories convey a strong brotherhood. You know going into them that someone is going to die. I still love to listen to them. Thank you for all your good work

ok but not the great and powerful R.C. Bray...

Hard to follow with this narration dull monotonous reading of what otherwise would be a decent story.

A sad departure

The voice performance is distracting and slow to the point that it’s all I can think about. Please not again. I’m sure he is talented, perhaps this just isn’t his specialty.

Narrator Ruined Story

The story was great but if RC Bray and a NOAA weather radio had a baby, that's what the narrator sounds like. Awkward pauses mid-sentence, downturns end of words, etc..

Some specialized KTF!

It is absolutely amazing what some authors can do. There is a larger than life sense of realism in this book. It makes one wonder what the author did in his life. 0_o

It was ok

The narrator seems to only have one voice and I could seem to get into the book

Made it 2 hours in....

I love galaxies edge, but I think this voice actor was the wrong choice. I got the impression of a lifelong smoker, who's tone and depth of their voice isn't natural, mixed with a very breathy way of speaking.

Refreshingly Different

Legion, but different. Very good story, interesting characters. Respectable narration. Wouldn't mind more Valkyrie stories.
