I was hoping this audio book would give me step by step instructions on the before-prep of canning (yes, the narrator gave some tools to use like the 16 quart pot, jars and tongs but not what to do with them in the right way, which is crucial to prevent molding or bacteria), the steps to take to sterilize, & “how” exactly to can. It did NOT. This audio book basically tells you that you’re able to can jams, jellies, curds, relish, etc which many people already know. There were a few small helpful simple jam/fruit butter recipes. I was really confused about why you hey included how to make granola in the oven and baking a cake and then presenting it in a jar when that has Nothing to do with food preservation. I’m bummed I spent $14 on this - could have bought a colorful book at the bookstore with instruction for that price.

Really only gives “types” of foods to can
