I accidentally hooked up with the guy I despise. A mistake I'd love to forget… except now he's my new roommate.

Reese Landry is Orleans University's arrogant all-star catcher. I'm the one girl he can't seem to catch. If anything, it only makes him want me more.

He's disgustingly rich, stupidly charming, and everyone loves him. Except me.

Then life throws me the ultimate curveball: He's my new temporary roomie. I thought it was going to be easy, keeping him at a distance. Turns out, I was wrong.

He's nothing like the cocky, rich playboy that I thought he was. I told myself one more time wouldn't hurt. We promised to keep things casual, no strings attached. But soon lines blur, and he somehow becomes my only safe space to land.

And now, we're catching feelings.

Catching Feelings is book two in the Orleans University series and can be enjoyed as a complete standalone.

Such a fun read. The narrators did a great job keeping me interested and really painted a picture of this story. Is it just me or do now I really want to read the book that the FMC wrote 🤣🤣🤣

My favorite Maren book so far!

I absolutely LOVED Reese and Viv! I loved their banter in book one and couldn’t wait for their story! And IT👏🏼DID👏🏼NOT👏🏼DISAPPOINT! This story had a fantastic plot and romance. The spice was exquisite and Reese is THE BOOK BOYFRIEND! The way he chased Viv and never let her push him away. He was honest and vulnerable with him, which allowed her to feel safe enough to do the same! This was funny, witty and so sexy!

This book was so good. I love the characters, the plot and the flow. It’s the story of a girl with too much on her plate and she is trying really hard to stay away from complications. He is so into her that he does everything in his power to help her, encourage her and on top of everything he is a 10. Read it, you won’t regret it.

I'm normally a hockey romance lover, but I have to say that Reese and his catcher thighs may be my new love. Hello, new book boyfriend. He may be a simp for Vivienne, but I'm one for him.

First, I want to say that I love that the author put a personal side of herself into this story. When I read that post at the beginning of this book, not only did my heart go out to her, but it also made me want to read it that much more.

This book starts out spicy and dirty between the two main characters. Even though Viv can't stand Reese and is always scowling at him, he just doesn't get why. He's always there giving her hell and loves that she dishes it right back to him. They share 1 night together, and Viv makes him promise not to tell anyone and to forget it ever happened. He can't, though, because she's always in his mind.

Vivienne had a lot on her plate. After dealing with a tragedy in high school, she's been steadily trying to pick back up the pieces of her broken mother. She didn't even have time to grieve properly through what she's been through. When her mother loses yet another job and can't afford to pay her rent, Viv had to drain her account to pay for it.

She's a freshman at Orleans U. Her scholarships pay for everything but housing and food. She works at the library in campus and does a podcast with her best friend Hallie on the paranormal and conspiracy theories. Reese overhears Viv talking about where she doesn't know where she's going to live when he offers a solution. Stay with him at his place. Should be simple, right?

Viv has so much on her plate and is always taking it out in Reese. She doesn't want to concern her best friends with what's going on in her life. She keeps so much to herself, and it's stressing her out. Every time Reese thinks he can help, she pushes him father away. Reese is a senior and the catcher of the baseball team. He's headed into the minors after graduation. He'll do anything for Viv if she'd just let him. He just doesn't know if she'll ever open up and let him in.

This book was so effing good. I loved every page of it. I have to say I may love this author. She not only gave us a little slice of her personal life in this book, but she kept me entertained throughout the whole thing. I laughed, cried, and felt so much throughout this book. I just downloaded the first book, and I'm starting that one now. If you haven't read this book, or you're thinking about reading it... pick it up! This book was so great. 5 stars all the way.

The narrators did a good job. I really enjoyed Summer Morton's voice. She did a perfect job as Vivian. It's just as I pictured Vivian's voice would sound like.
Vincent Skye did pretty good. At times he sounded amazing as Reese, and other times he just lost me. He sounded like a virtual voice during certain chapters. His voice just didn't sound memorable to me as some of the other narrators do that I've listened too.

A Perfect Enemies to Lovers, Baseball Romance!

Hated this book. HATE when parents force their children to become the parent.
Shit happens and it's 100% ok to need help, but seek help from another adult. Find a friend, family member, or professional. Don't force your child into that situation. I had to take a break from this book before finally forcing myself to finish it because it was making me irrational angry. The MCs weren't written well enough to redeem the plot.
Disappointed after the first book (which I thought was cute)
TBD if I'll go through the rest of the series after this.

I really loved Reese and Viv’s story. They were great characters. The story itself just felt empty in parts. Great listen though!

Good sequel
