About this listen

They all want the Dragon dead.

The Dragon was trained from his youth to operate as a lethal killing machine. He has tangled with crime lords, dangerous insurgents, even Nether Ops...and none of these forces has been able to bring the elusive warrior to heel.

Enter the notorious bounty hunter Tyrus Rechs.

Rechs takes on the job as a favor to an old Savage Wars buddy. Only Rechs isn’t out to kill the Dragon - his mission is to save the kid’s life.

Unless the Dragon kills Rechs first.

Amazing book

Obviously you need to read Requiem for Medusa first, but Do. Not. Skip. This. Book. It's very good.

Probably my favorite book in this Universe.

Reading Galaxy's Edge spoils the endings of this mini series. I really appreciate Ray Porter as the narrorator, rather than RC Bray. Not that Bray isn't good, Porter just seems to have a knack for being more into the readings and expreaaive, really bringing the work to life.

Brilliant. Read it BEFORE Galaxy's Edge

I really liked this book of the series. It shows an unexpected side of Tirus Reks. Totally rocks!

Probably the most amazing one of the series.

This series continues to captivate, as we continue to get a better and deeper look into the man behind the infamous (depending on who you ask) Mark I armor. If you wanted to know more about everyone's favorite general/bounty-hunter, or if you just want some kickass gunslinging, this is definitely a tale for you. Plus Ray Porter is a fantastic Tyrus.

Another Great Dive Into The Ocean of Rechs

Every book in G/E saga gets better. My only complaint is the book was too short.

This is my least fave outta this trilogy. But that’s only because I found a bit boring….the other two were more interesting

Great but…

Just when you thought you were on to the end of the Galaxy’s edge series you see this in the line up. You wonder, do I have to read it? I thought the same. The answer, I presume, is most certainly yes.

In honor of Rechs, must read.

Requiem for Medusa and Chasing the Dragon are unequivocally the two best prequels in Anspach and Cole's outstanding Galaxy's Edge series.
What makes them so outstanding? Four things:
1. Rex is the main protagonist in both novels;
2. Both stories have captivating and complex plot lines, and they're also chock-full of brutal action scenes;
3. Anspach and Cole's writing is exceptional, offering vivid descriptions of people and planets along the galactic ring, and providing the characters with multidimensional and dynamic personalities;
4. Ray Porter's narration is truly superb.
(IMO, Porter and Bray are the only two narrators capable of hopping in to properly narrate any given story in Galaxy's Edge, without either butchering the voices primary characters or disrupting the overall flow of the story.)
Both Requiem for Medusa and Chasing the Dragon have rightfully earned my highest recommendation. Bravo!

Best of Galaxy's Edge
