Perfect Solution for Panic Attacks
My daughter has been having panic attacks. She did not want to go to a doctor. I found this audio book on line. We listened to it together. Narrator is excellent. Only 3-1/4 hours long and it has already helped her. So grateful I found this!! You have to get this if you or a loved one are having panic attacks. Highly recommend to all. So Much Great Information
I have been struggling with anxiety and depression for quite a while now. Tried different things, nothing seemed to work. Then I found this audio book and it has changed my life. So much great information and many techniques to help me. Great narration and wonderful, sound information. Highly recommend this to anyone in my position. Every parent should listen to this
CBT is not teaching positive thinking. It's more geared toward realistic thinking. I find this particularly helpful when raising pre-teens and teenagers as that seems to be when puberty and emotions are running high. Kids that age are experiencing some huge life changes and with that comes new experiences and emotions to process. CBT helps you make sense of it all.
I would just recommend handing the audiobook over to a kid and telling them to listen to this to solve their problems. I'd recommend the parents to listen to this to build up their toolbox to help their kids get through tough times whether it be outbursts of anger, depression, or anxiety. I've personally benefitted from practicing CBT for myself and my family.
If you notice your kid is going through a rough time, grab the book, listen to the chapter that closely relates to what your kid is going through, and start implementing what you learn. Don't expect a miracle to happen but CBT has been shown to help a lot of people.

Wonderful Audio Book, Lots of Great Information

Honestly I am so grateful for CBT! I new that it was something specialists recommended when buying this book. But I needed a guide on it and this book really helped and went deep into how to do it right. I recommend it!
