The Last Writing Book to Read

It doesn’t cover the fundamentals, ie inciting incident, protagonists defined, three act structure, etc. It’s very advanced, but it’s a great read and most certainly rewards being familiar with Chuck’s bibliography. It’s a must for any Palahniuk reader.

Excellent Ideas!

I have never read any of the Author's books. I will now. Not because I judge his writing from this Audible book, buy I do want to see his advice in practice...and I want to try not to faint while reading Guts.

I don't care if you write, you should still listen

I love when writers narrate their own books, it feels so natural. Is very good.

Intensely Interesting

A collection of tips for aspiring writers told alongside gripping tales from Chuck Palahniuk's life that serve to punctuate his points while also showcasing where some of his inspiration for various stories originated. The book includes some wholly original pieces of advice for authors, which I greatly appreciated and highly recommend.

My fav author writing advice book

Good stuff. He really hits some detailed points, not the usual basic stuff you find in IG memes “show don’t tell” etc. There a couple things I’ll use for future books. Nice work, Mr. Chuck P

a personal look into chuck

this book made me want to pursue writing in an ernest way.

If you're looking for author or specific book recommendations chuck makes a ton of suggestions here.

well worth the time even of you have no interest in writing and just want a look into chuck as he goes outside his normal bounds of fiction.

this book will gave me a greater understanding of chuck's books and the world of authorship in general.
