Comedian, activist, and hugely popular culture blogger at AwesomelyLuvvie.com Luvvie Ajayi serves up necessary advice for the masses in this hilarious book of essays.

With over 500,000 readers a month at her enormously popular blog, AwesomelyLuvvie.com, Luvvie Ajayi is a go-to source for smart takes on pop culture. I'm Judging You is her debut book of humorous essays that dissects our cultural obsessions and calls out bad behavior in our increasingly digital, connected lives. It passes on lessons and side-eyes on life, social media, culture, and fame, from addressing those terrible friends we all have, to serious discussions of race and media representation, to what to do about your fool cousin sharing casket pictures from Grandma's wake on Facebook.

With a lighthearted, razor sharp wit and a unique perspective, I'm Judging You is the handbook the world needs, doling out the hard truths and a road map for bringing some "act right" into our lives, social media, and popular culture. It is the Do-Better Manual.

A very detailed rant

Overall the book was good if you are interested in hearing all that's wrong with people. ( that's what this book is all about)
It was well thought out and categorized which was great. I honestly only read it because of my book club and I generally don't read books like this but I digress.
It wasn't a page turner for me so thank God for Audible and long commutes.

I do side eye many of the things she points out so essentially this book expressed what most people feel others need to stop doing.

Side-eye Hilarity!!!

I laughed from intro to epilogue. The author is perfect narrating with her comedic made up words and real life stories.

Funny, insightful and delightful...

This book was so full of witty and insightful "side eye" and I loved every single minute of it! I'm usually not a fan of 'author read" versions but I don't think anyone else could have given it the same justice. Really good book.

A Fun Read With A Great Message

This book says a lot of things that I want to scream from the rooftops. Luvvie does a great job of "schoolin'" the masses, while being very funny and entertaining!

The only problem is that she is basically preaching to the choir. The folks who REALLY need to read, highlight pages and take notes from this book, are not the ones who would actually pick up this book! The offenses that she address in the book are usually committed by people who are in such denial, it would not register to them that the content is referring to them.

All the same, I nod in total agreement with most of the things that she says. We the people, need to get a clue and be better human beings. I'm guilty of some of those faux pas mentioned in the book, so the message is not totally lost. Luvvie tells it like it is and I appreciate her for it!

This book is for the open-minded

This was a great ....listen! Some chapters were just funny, but others I was able to agree and/or learn from her views. Haven't we all been guilty of some of the things mentioned in her book? Maybe in our youth, but at the end she really inspires others to get involved and take responsibility for their actions and for making change in the world with simple everyday things.
