Publisher's summary

The rages are crushing you...

...and the accusations never cease.

Being a spouse to borderline personality disorder is one wild ride, but you want to stay true to your vows and support your partner.

You just wish you didn’t feel so alone.

Finally, there is a down and dirty “street guide” to BPD written in nonclinical, compassionate language by the spouse of a “borderline” for the spouses of borderlines.

You can learn to identify BPD and narcissistic traits in your spouse, even if she/he refuses to be diagnosed.

You can learn to understand your spouse’s logic-defying actions.

With powerfully supportive reviews from therapists, spouses of BPD, and even those with BPD, this book (and the entire series) is becoming standard listening for all members of the BPD community.

The author, Robert Page, has been through it all: weekends lost to arguments, bizarre accusations, wild mood swings, verbal and physical abuse, self-harm, suicidal threats, public embarrassment, thousands of dollars in related expenses, and even criminal prosecution - all because he loved his wife too much to confront the root problem: her borderline personality disorder. Sound familiar?

You’ll be so relieved you found this introduction to BPD because you’ll see yourself in the riveting first-person accounts and realize there are roses to be found beyond the rage.

Absolute must listen!!

I think this is by far the clearest intro and reaffirmation for the spouses of people with BPD or suspected. It's straight to the point, concise, no fluff and no sugar coating. It will be the best one hour of your time if you are struggling with yourself and with your spouse who may have BPD. Thank you Robert for sharing your story with others.
I hope the other books by Robert Page come out on Audible soon!

Easy to understand and straight to the point

This was a very easy read, quick into the point. Goes over in quick, simplified terms how borderline personality will show up. I would say anyone who reads this quick our long book will know for sure whether they are experiencing this and their spouse or partner or not. Definitely was chilling to see the other people have had exact endured the exact same situations as I have.

Really insightful

My husband and I listened this book together. I(the wife) have BPD, and he really thought the book helped him understand more about my disorder. We are really enjoying learning about my new diagnosis together (: this book is super helpful learning about it.

wow!!

I never write reviews but I felt it would be an injustice to myself, the author and others curious about whether they should read this book, if I didn't say anything.
I wasn't to sure what was wrong with my husband..... or wrong with me (how he always made me feel) until I stumbled along this book. Thank you to the author for literally changing my life and the trajectory it was about to go. I was two seconds from giving up the only reason I haven't at this very point was because I was scared he is going to kill himself. I don't know how or why this book found me I like to say (I call it God others may say fate maybe a little of both) but I'm so thankful. Now I can and will go in the direction of finding more literature and getting not only him but me as well, the help we need. I realize now it is an us problem not just him or I, because I fully meant my vows when I said them and intend to stand by his side through good times and bad etc. I know now I just have to go about things a little or a whole lot differently than before. I could go on and on but in short thank you again to the author for becoming the light I so desperately needed to see in my time of darkness.
