Ryan and his team have reached the capital.
Fighting incursions is bad enough, but the many layers of political in-fighting just make him sick.
Fortunately, his power is growing, and he's learning to forge his own path. To find the way forward though, he's going to have to learn the truth about his past.
Join Ryan, Elu, Kumo, and Lian as they stand up to the heavens and the politics of men alike.

Ryan and his wives have made it to the Capital. He didn’t expect to find more enemies, allies, and Elu has a surprise planned for him. He really thought that fighting the orcs would be the hardest part of being a Hero.
This cultivation series has been really fun! It is a PG 13 harem story, so romance is a big part of it, but everything happens behind closed doors. The women in the series are well developed and are more than just objects for the MC. The action of this series is fantastic! Better still, this series will be connecting to Welcome to the Multiverse. Daniel Wisniewski and Rebecca Woods do a great job with the narration.

Anywho, the book is well written and entertaining. Full of pop culture references to boot.
Sight beyond sight? lol really?
But I love it. David Burke is certainly one of my favorite authors of the new generation.
Solid story progression. A well preformed and entertaining series thus far.

Example. When the hated wife power is boosted the other wives assume finally intimacy. As our mc yells oh not this again.
Example. When a divine beast who says they know his ancestors and they will help him. He is to busy demanding why they are here and want to talk to him. After encounter he says he wished he had more time to ask about his ancestors. Huge laugh , he was too busy being an arrogant ass hat.
Did the author use a ghost writer for this series. Maybe his next will be better
