A Needed Boost for My Mental and Physical Health
I’ve struggled with depression, stress and anxiety for years, so I decided to try this, because I am tired of medication. (I've tried it all.) These exercises have quickly become part of my routine, and I’ve noticed a real difference in how I feel. It’s easy to follow, even with my crazy schedule, and I love how it focuses on small, manageable steps. The practical tips for calming my nerves and staying grounded are things I actually use throughout the day, especially during moments when I feel overwhelmed. It’s like having a personal toolkit to keep myself balanced, and the benefits are already showing—better focus, less tension, and overall feeling more in control. I've especially noticed that the seasonal depression (seasonal affective disorder) I normally struggle with this time of the year has completely vanished! I’m soooo happy that I found this book!

I will be honest, I did not know what the vagus nerve was until I saw this book and wanted to work on some self care. The recommendations are presented in a practical way that allows me to use the exercises without feeling overwhelmed. The small adjustments recommended here make a difference to feel more grounded and balanced. The tone of the book was welcoming and professional. I do not practice the exercises daily (like I should) but you can start and stop as you see fit or have time for and still feel the benefits. Highly recommend giving it a listen.

These are great books :)
I’ve been struggling with anxiety and stress for a while, so I was eager to see what this book had to offer. I feel like I've exhausted my use of meditation to help me. The exercises in this book are straightforward and easily fit into my daily routine, and I really do feel calmer and more centered after consistent practice.
