I have lives most of my life in stress mode. Wishing I could be calmer and less reactive. This book explains in detail what is happening with my nervous system and my mental well being. I can see now why it has been hard for me and now I have steps that i feel with time can help the trauma i have experienced in my life. I feel the steps for mind-body healing are totally doable and I am working on creating new habits using this book as a guide. Great resource for sure.
