I'm starting to think he gave up on, and it still was perfect. Perfection.

The story overall was entertaining and great but it cut off so many storylines that it felt rushed. The story introduced many side characters and things that could have been explored but decided to make a more straightforward storyline as if to say why even introduce these characters if you’re not going to keep going. Slow down the pacing and give some closure

Great series, but this book felt rushed. No other complaints. Blooper reels are funny as hell.

Appears to be a beaver getting kicked in the nads, what more could you ask for in a book? LOL

Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I love the main characters' development and enjoyed feeling the emotions of the characters in the story.

I do feel that the last 2 hours of this book should have been 5 hours. With a focus towards development on the conclusion tying up a few loose ends. I don't want to give any spoilers, but other than that I enjoyed the whole series.

A decent ending to a great series

I'm a fan of Charles Dean. and have been on a handful of journeys of his. This series was just ok, though. There was a little too much Harem fantasy action in this one. I usually don't mind it, but it's something to consider in books 3 and 4 of this series and where/how you listen to it. My biggest gripe was the ending. up until the last hour and a half, I was looking forward to another book in this series. Like him hunting down the sect that took his mom after what happens leading up to the ending. The book was leading into a good antagonist arc with one of Os friends. Then it just ends the series out of no where, pisses on the grave of all that arc building, with a non battle, and Lars finally getting powerful enough to go hero status for his dear old mom for a final villain showdown. It seems like Mr Dean didn't want to write in this world anymore, just short cutted to the happy ending, and it feels bad.

Ending felt abrubt
