A pleasant and enlightening book
Having read many books on meditation, including several Indian gurus; this is a book even a child could understand. A simple process in simple English that anyone can easily follow. I would recommend this book before any others.

very thorough mantra use instruction
This is a great alternative to Transcendental Meditation instruction. Nobody owns the technique of using a mantra... whether it is labeled TM or DM...
this is just enough information to truly cover the subject, without fluff. I was taught by a different instructor who I now believe was influenced by yogani and his method (not that it matters!!!!)
