About this listen
Ankur Warikoo is an entrepreneur and content creator whose deep, witty, and brutally honest thoughts on success and failure, money and investing, self-awareness and personal relationships have made him one of India’s top personal brands. In his first book, Ankur puts together the key ideas that have fuelled his journey—one that began with him wanting to be a space engineer and ended with him creating content that has been seen and read and heard by millions. His thoughts range from the importance of creating habits for long-term success to the foundations of money management, from embracing and accepting failure to the real truth about learning empathy. This is a book to be listened to, and repeated, a book whose lines you will take note of and think about again and again, a book you will give your family and friends and strangers. Ankur hopes for this book to become the most gifted book ever!

For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Story
In this provocative and inspiring audiobook, David Richo distills 30 years of experience as a therapist to explain the underlying roots of unhappiness - and the surprising secret to finding freedom and fulfillment. There are certain facts of life that we cannot change - the unavoidable "givens" of human existence: (1) everything changes and ends, (2) things do not always go according to plan, (3) life is not always fair, (4) pain is a part of life, and (5) people are not loving and loyal all the time.

But if your subconscious mind was fixated on fattening food and how difficult exercise was, the experience was probably a challenge or a dismal failure. Therefore, changing one or more aspects of your life can’t occur until you affect change on your subconscious.

The subject of "money" remains one of the most fascinating, thought provoking, emotional, polarizing, and well-researched subjects in the world. Scores of books, articles, blog posts, and speeches have been written on what money is, how to earn it, how to spend it, who has it and who does not, and a myriad of other topics related to the effects that it produces. Yet, despite the constant focus and interest on the topic, there is one word that describes the average person's views around money: confusion.

📚Honest Thoughts 💭 📚
This was my book #100 read this year and I couldn’t have chosen a better one!
The author is true, there’s nothing there we don’t really know. However, it is so well written, compiled and organized that makes it absolutely enjoyable and full of knowledge.
I laughed and cried and as usual took down notes so as not to forget: HOW TO DO EPIC SHIT! 😂
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/5
Absolutely! Do Epic Shit!

Most of self help books are full of nuances on few 8-10 advice that the author have. It is important to understand and read the nuances even though sometimes it’s not relevant to you. This book however have hundreds of advices and wisdom (mostly from the author’s tweet), and in a way, I love it! It cuts all the bs of the nuances and can be serve as a reminder from time to time.
Author has a clear voice. It’s always great to have the author to narates the book, and made the last chapter touching.
The book is bad for audiobook format, it’s not a story. And in the physical book, there’s bold text at the beginning of the page as a start of the advice and short text afterwards explaining it. You can’t hear the start and stop of each of this advice and that’s not a good experience. I don’t think there’s a way around it, it’s best to just get the physical book.
Misleading title but full of wisdom!
