Jerrell Hawkins has a plan. Storyline not to bad. But the inability to read the words in American English is so annoying. The sexual context is at the 12 year old level. I didn't finish.

I really enjoyed the book when it started I thought it was just a good fantasy book but it turned out to be so much more. I deeply wish I had the next book in the series to listen to I will be on the hunt for more by this Author.

I enjoyed the story and the uniqueness of the system. I am a sucker for unique magic or game systems, since it makes it easier to have a character have non-standard progression that feels realistic. The plot isnt bad either.

What made me struggle with rating this story, was the fact that nowhere in the description does it mention that there is a harem (which is generally not my cup of tea) nor does it mention that there are explicit chapters with the harem. Honestly, if it wasnt for the explicit chapters, I'd still not fully like the relationship progression, but I can deal with that.

Please, if you're going to include explicit scenes, please make a note in the description. The people who dont mind that sort of thing will still want to read it, but the people who dont want it, or are on the fence would really appreciate a warning.

That was a great listen. Real surprise hit for me. I'm very grateful the story was more Lit than RPG. The plot really evolved as the book went on and I'm pretty damn excited to see what the author has in store for us next.

Great story and narration!

Nathan's dream is to become a war mage. However he is trying to pioneer a new pattern (group of magic abilities that gives a mage their power). With his crush by his side and a pack of werewolves at his heels his world is about to change.

Rafe does a fantastic job of the narration, and really brings this story to life!

I loved the story and can't wait to find out what happens next!
