Wow! This is an incredible

Wow! This is an incredible resource for anyone who has felt uncomfortable at a train station, family gathering or overhearing an angry conversation, only to feel re-balanced after taking a few minutes to sit under a tree. In The Empath’s Survival Guide, Dr. Orloff gives us practical techniques for dealing with heightened sensitivities to overstimulation including grounding and how to set boundaries. She approaches the gifts and challenges of being an empath with scientific, spiritual and emotional experience identifying triggers and the tools to soothe, celebrating being whole while finding common ground between intuition and other aspects of life.

Amazing

I had only recently discovered that I was an empath when I ran across Dr. Orloff's survival guide. I am SO GLAD that I took a chance and bought it because it explained a lot of things for me throughout my life that I would not have otherwise associated with being an empath.

This was written for me

This was written for me. I never understood why I was so in tuned and sensitive before and this book has literally changed how I look at my life and how I function in life. I feel like I have a user manual for me now. If you think your overly empathetic this book is a great read.

This really spoke to who I am

This really spoke to who I am. I didn't particularly cotten to the whole angel idea, and it somewhat lessened the credibility of the author as an MD in my eyes, but the archetype is certainly well presented and many of the strategies are worth the price of the book.

Nice

From the start I knew that "The Empath's Survival Guide" would be the most succinct and helpful book I would ever find to navigate through life; it is the Ultimate Guide for True Freedom for Empaths! I learned about being an Empath from Dr. Orloff's previous books on the subject and it has definitely changed my life.

I am so grateful for this book.

I am so grateful for this book...I have read Ms. Orloff's other books and appreciate her work...this book "The Empath's Survival Guide is a life saver for me. I thought I was a co=dependent, but after reading articles regarding the book, I began to realize that I was an empath...Well this has changed the whole package...I now KNOW what it is and how to now deal with the thing called empath....I highly recommend it for one's self, or any other person who you live or work with that is an empath.

An interesting listen
