They are combining forces and sharing technology, even resorting to acts of terrorism in hopes of putting a stop to Nathan's conquests. If the face of growing opposition, Nathan and his allies discover an even deadlier threat. The Prule that have been hiding in the galaxy for more than 200 years have suddenly come out of hiding. They have gathered a fleet to protect a secret that no one was supposed to uncover. I have come to realise just how important it is to be allowed to capture action from the MC"s side kicks viewpoints.
The author brings the story all together in the mix of characters. The main character, Nathan is the only human on board. So Nathan is adopting the moral character of his mercenary friends. He has become aware of how fast humanity's veneer of play fair gets peeled away when you are under fire and your people are dying.
This is a story filled with lots of violence. Yet the enemy that's coming for them surpasses the definition of evil. You just have to hope that Nathan and his crew pulls through to destroy them first.
Great story! Good writing and an awesome narration!
This comes from the personal viewpoint of the MC

I wanted to like this series. At this point, though, I can't see it redeeming itself. All it is is a linear video game plot of "go here, kill all the baddies" with cutscenes of cookie cutter, repetitive crew interactions for "comedy" and "I totally did it with the hot alien chick".
2 in a row establishes a trend..
