I have read a lot of self-help/development books with varying degrees of value. I would say this was in the highest tier for how much it's helped me. I'm the kind of person who is a bit too hard on themselves and can tend to be their own worst enemy. This book dealt with the anxiety I've holding for years with fantastic immediate and long-term results. It does have some spiritual and especially Buddhist themes that may deter some but it was an actionable and effective guide to potent meditation and emotional well-being.

Listening to these words while practicing natural meditation regularly has been steadily helping me build the foundation to face the uncertainty of the future head-on. Hearing the words in his voice helps them stick when practicing on my own.

Eloquently Dean explains the process of meditation like no other, as well as simple techniques to practice. I love his sense of humor as he walks us through the mutual challenges we all face, leaving me with a feeling its all ok.
