thanks soooo much

OK, I bought the book when they were perhaps too young, and never really got around to reading, since life was so miserable with 3 teenagers in the house!!
Than my wife moved out after 18 years because she was drained and couldn't take it anymore, so i was left with 3 kids who are going through the "terrible teens"
So I got the audiobook and 2 days later all the shit makes sense and im not going to shoot myself!!
REALLY worth it!! I kindof knew some of it, or it was told to me "it will be ok" and "kids are just like that" but that was not enough!!
"its a phase" crap!!
But this did explain it and put it all in perspective.
If only my wife would be open to learning.......

Must Read (Listen)

Every parent should read this. Teachers should read this. Grandparents and aunts/ uncles should read this. If there is a teen in your life, you should read this. Even if you are not struggling in the parenting department, but especially if you are, you should read this.

Somewhat dated but well worth your time

It's outdated in some aspects, but has helped a lot with my son because I understand some things that I could never have understood as a Mom.

This man knows teens!

As a parent educator and author myself, I have been studying the psychology of adolesents for many years. Dr. Wolf has today's modern teen pegged with accuracy. Anyone raising tweens or teens must read this book before they do anything else. What you will learn from this psychologist will change your relationship with your child forever, and for the best!
