Such a well written story. Completely unpredictable. Powerful characters that had their flaws which created realistic weaknesses. Human nature was captured well. BEST PERFORMANCE! Love this voice actor. She does an outstanding job!

I loved Heart of Mist and Bleak’s story. The narrator was exceptional and really helped bring the characters to life. Also the details of the world and characters helped me immerse myself in the book, so I felt like I was part of it. Honestly, I couldn’t stop listening to it! It’s been over a year and I still think about this book often!

I really enjoyed this book! I want to dive right into the second one. so many more things to find out and do! The narrator did a phenomenal job. She really made the characters come to life and changed her voice so well. 5 stars all around for this one

loved it...slow paced but well worth the wait. great character development and world building

I tuned out for most of this story. nothing memorable happened to characters that made no impact.

the whole novel felt like the opening Prologue to a more interesting story. Bleak's story was bleak. She Deals with alcoholism and what I think might be sexual abuse. She also has mind reading powers which the alcohol dampens.

The best characters Dash and Elina got almost no screen time. I really wanted more of these two they were the only ones I really cared about.

The really interesting lore didn't drop until the final couple of chapters. If this info had come sooner instead of wasting most of the book building up the forest dwelling Amazon's, who ultimately didn't do anything important, then maybe I would feel invested enough to keep reading.


The narrator was not bad she read well but I was confused by her accent choices. The story was not clear on if these different accents were from other countries or if it was just the narrator trying to mix up the voices.

I found this book to drag on slowly but it did pick up and became much more interesting in the last four chapters. I almost have up but I continued on to my great surprise. Magic, love, death, mystery, horror and so much more. The story line was good. The characters were believable.
