Publisher's summary

FBI Agents Cameron Ross and Andrea Sullivan found the unexpected when they met amongst the warm red rocks and cliffs of Sedona - each other. That commitment, along with their ingenuity, courage and resolve, will be tested along the most barren of stretches in California's Mojave Desert.

Someone is using the bleak highways to dump women's bodies, but in a landscape where an inviting road can curve into a sand-choked mirage, and a true oasis can be invisible under a white-hot sun, clues can blow away in the wind.

In this sequel to Devil's Rock, Gerri Hill pits two remarkable women against the harsh and bitter desert and an implacable killer.

LOVE THIS BOOK

I have read this book over and over again, hoping Gerri would put it to audio, and finally she did, so guess what, no more computer voice for me... Abby Craden killed it once again, it was amazing to hear the store as it was meant to be with Cam and Andrea doing what they do best. This was such a good book, I would recommend all the GH books but especially the Hunters Ways , and Devil's Rock Series.

Hot in the Desert

Cameron and Andrea are sent to the Mojave Desert in California to track a serial killer who is leaving headless women’s dead bodies along the highways. Teamed with Reynolds team they search for a dedicated serial killer. Great mystery with the masterful Abby Craden.

Gerrit Hill Never Fails

I like hearing stories with Cameron. Good to see her soften up when it comes to love.

Great Book

I just started listening to Gerri Hill and so far have not been disappointed. Narrator was excellent. Seems like I will have to print out all her works so I can listen to in the order they were written or book series. I love it
