Publisher's summary

The world is in peril and fate needs a hero to save it. Sometimes, all fate gets is a bunny.

She is a dungeon creature bound by the rules of the dungeon. Her job is to do bunny things, like eat and hop, and eventually fall prey to larger creatures. A bunny need do nothing more. However, she cannot help herself. Everyday as adventurers pass through the cave that she calls home, she sees them wielding strange and fascinating magic but more importantly...she hears them talking.

Their words are wonderful, and she learns as many of them as she can while trying to ignore the epic tragedy of her life.

She is just a bunny, and there is no way that a bunny could ever be like an adventurer, no matter how many words she knows.

This story is inspired by Dungeon Core and litRPG/gamelit.

Exactly Right

This was exactly the type of book I'd hoped it would be. It's a great listen and very entertaining. I'm really looking forward to more.

Promising Fluff

Alright so the first off the criticisms are right in the reviews, 10 of the 17 hours is just internal monologue/could be cut. The story is just barely a complete arc/cliffhanger. Compared to other cutesy progression fantasy type books this one doesn't rate by itself.

So why then do I say it is promising?

It feels like an authors first book, it gets better as it goes, and if the author can cut a lot of the repetitive internal dialogue there might be some cool ideas to explore in the next book. Honestly if it were me I would have edited out like 2/3rds of it but ok maybe it was a serial? The author didn't have time?

I am giving the author the benefit of the doubt because I think for people that like stories like Cinnamon Bun by RavensDagger this could be right up your alley.

I was really surprised at the storyline for this book it’s nothing I’ve ever read before and I can’t wait to read book two!

Can't go wrong with a Heroic Bunny

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, and Reba Buhr was a perfect narrator for it. She's just perfect for the upbeat, but confused little bunny. It's a fantastic story of a dungeon creature beating the odds to survive, grow, and start her journey as a sapient creature. It was fun and funny, and with all nai e MC's, a little bit horrifying.

My only complaint is that, in spite of this book being 2 in 1, I wish there was more of it, and the story feels like it is just getting started. I can't wait for the next one to come out!

a very tedious story

the story drones on repeatedly and takes forever to get to the point.
this greatly inflated the story size.
I understand some story points need to be repetitive to get a special point across but this book does it to every single point.
I got the concept that she is a small helpless bunny the first 20 times, but this book literally repeats it over another hundred plus times.
Get over yourself and get on with the story.

the only saving grace that kept me through book 1 is the great voice acting. but even if can't save the annoying repetition of this book.

Sequel?

I just now finished and hope the author will continue with this series. Any thing confirmed about that?

totally cute bunny coming of age story as told by a dungeon bunny. might not be high literature but it scratches an itch. i'd read more and recommend to a certain kind of friend.

I liked it

A nice slice of life fantasy. The accidental murders is probably my favorite bit.

Give it a try.
