About this listen

The moment I step into Faerie, I become his.

Everyone knows about the Fae of the forest—gorgeous, sinful, deadly. When I trespass into their magical world, I need more than my sharp tongue to survive. Especially against the ruler of the woodland.

Puck is a smooth-talking rogue with a cruel smirk that sets me aflame in more ways than one. And because the Fae bastard likes to play with his captives, he gives me two choices: either hunt or be hunted.

Now I'm trapped in a dangerous game of hide and seek, lost in this dark, seductive realm where Faeries wield blades and whisper lustful temptations from the shadows.

He's the predator. I'm the prey.

I'm not submitting without a fight. I refuse to be Puck's toy. If my rakish enemy wants to hunt me, I'll hunt him back and beat him at his own treacherous game.

Yet I can't resist the wicked desire in his eyes, nor his heated touch and devious kiss. And if I'm not careful, he'll crush my very soul.

Hunt the Fae is a spicy new adult fantasy romance intended for mature listeners. For fans of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Holly Black, Laura Thalassa, and Raven Kennedy.

Hunt the Fae is the second book in Natalia Jaster's hot fantasy romance series, Dark Fables: Vicious Faeries. If you like spicy forbidden love, enemies to lovers, angst with heart, and a slow burn that ignites between a bookish huntress and devilish dark lord, prepare to swoon like a human.

Romantic and endearing less vicious

I like this story’s romance a lot, and towards the end it got better. I lean towards more of a want/need for viciousness and action so I liked the previous book better. I think this was more of a beginner on the scale of gore, still overall a good story. The title vicious faeries may be a little misleading on this one. Hoping for more gore and action in Curse the Fae.

I do love some faery smut.

I really liked the book. I definitely wouldn’t consider it enemies to lovers, and I have a hard time considering the MMC’s to be villains. But I like them. I can see how people might complain that this book and the first are too similar. Each of the first three books follows a sister and their game. It’s a little corny but that’s not always a bad thing.

This book. Those accents. That fae male! Yes please!

What can I say I am a sucker for a spicy romantasy!

I feel Natalia Jaster has such a unique writing style that is totally engrossing. There is a this whole other level that comes out when her words are spoken by such great narrators and I found myself immersed in the Solitary Forest with Puck, Juniper and all the fauna.

I also listened to Kiss the Fae and knew right away I needed to listen to this one as well. Although I wanted to many times to pick up the ebook to come where I left off I forced myself to stay in the audiobook because it was just THAT good.

I can’t wait to listen to the next book!

This is everything!!!!

This performance is absolutely top-notch! To hear these amazing characters come to life, and have their own voices and attitudes is absolutely thrilling! The story is already such an incredible story and an incredible series by Natalia Jaster. I don’t think it could get better! Hearing Puck’s voice done by Tim… well it’s like smoked honey over bacon! All of it absolutely superb! If you haven’t listened/read this series, I don’t know what you’ve been doing, but it’s wrong! Lol! I’m joking, but seriously, not joking how amazingly good this series is! If you do anything, and I mean anything this year, please listen to me and listen/read this series!

Juniper and Puck's love for each other, from start to end.

Juniper and Puck were made for each other, she grounds him whioe he let's her soar. They make each other better, and there's no one else that is more compatible for the other. In battle, there's no one else that should stand by them who would defend or fight hard enough for the other.

Absolutely brilliant

I loved this book. If you have read Natalias Foolish Kingdoms series and liked Poet and Briar, you will love Puck and Juniper. Puck knows exactly how to use his words to get what he wants. Juniper is stubborn and well educated and doesn't take any of his rubbish. Strong-willed and caring for animals, Puck just can not resist pushing her buttons. It is the perfect balance of slow burn and spice. Cannot wait to read book 3 now!

Hidden gem here. I got some spice but I’m rooting for the couples and it’s such a feel good story,

Amazing!!!

A great story with great narration. I love how Natalia combines magic, adventure, banter and romance. Her enemies to lovers stories are so wonderfully written. I loved Puck and Juniper, they were such a good match!

Witty Banter. Flirting from the beginning.

Narration
Amanda Leigh Cobb narration was captivating and the accent helped with the fae language. This kept me glamoured with this book. Although her voice didn't change much compared to book one. I liked how you could feel the different emotions from the narrator. Tim Campbell even though he only narrated a chapter, it was a narration that caught my attention. I look forward to hearing him more throughout this series and in the finally book

Story
This story follows the other fae brother , Puck, and the other sister, Juniper, who are in another test/challenge for Juniper's freedom. This story actually got steamy quickly but not in the physical sense but in the flirtatious sense. The banter is wonderfully amazing to listen, the emotion and internal challenges between the test, puck and Juniper, and even within themselves is so captivating that you keep listening/reading because you want to see what they will do.

Definitely recommend!
