About this listen

Grab your stakes and your rock salt. Monster hunting class is in session.

For as long as he can remember, Liam Hunter has been on the road hunting monsters with his family. But after meeting the Davis family, everything he’s ever known about monsters has been destroyed as well as the walls around his heart. Can Liam find out who or what is killing teachers in Falkville Falls before the next murder, or will this vicious cycle of deaths have no end?

Meanwhile, with only their father to care for them, Olivia Davis has always felt like a mother figure to her little sister. But after meeting the Hunter family and learning there are real monsters she never knew existed, she no longer thinks she can protect her family alone. Now she’ll have to join forces with the one boy who has crawled under her skin and into her heart to take down a monster that’s too close to home. That’s if her own family doesn’t stand in her way.

Monster hunters for the win!

Perfect for lovers of the show Supernatural. The right blend of romance suspense and intrigue. Can’t wait for book 2.

A fun ride!

Did you like the TV show Supernatural? Well, do I have a book for you. Claire sets her story in a world where vampires, werewolves, ghosts and other supernatural creatures are real...and they are hungry.

This story is about love and found friends with plenty of action. The story is quick, fun, and an ultimately satisfying read with characters that will leave you thinking about them long after the story has ended.

Perfect for Fans of Supernatural

If you're a fan of the TV show Supernatural, you'll probably like this book. It has supernatural creatures like vampires and ghosts, and a family of monster hunters. The romantic plot, similar to those found on a CW show, is decent, but may annoy some readers.

Travis Baldree's narration is excellent and brings the characters to life, while Arielle DeLisle doesn't quite have his range. Her performance is adequate though.

Basically Supernatural, but romance angst

This book follows the Winchester bro- I mean the Hunter family as they travel through a story with as much subtly in story as a nuclear detonation has about survivability. Would still be a ok book though, if not for the romance angst bull and the poor narrative choices to switch by chapter rather than character gender or simply let Travis do it all, since the other narrator can't do anything but whiny teen or the kind of voice you expect to hear from teens prank calling.

The story it self is largely similar to Supernatural, family drama, "dead" parent, drama that could be solved if anyone talked for 15 minutes, side characters can literally explode and no one cares after a chapter or two, questionable world mechanics, and a old car they care too much about.
