liked the adventure

Great story line. Liked the build up of gathering up the crew from different lifestyles and corners of the galaxy. Wish the enquisitors motive and AI hunting was more developed.

Amazing writing!

I didn't think it would be possible to improve on the first book but I was proven wrong. The story telling and characters drew me in and kept me engaged from the first page! I love this series!

Very enjoyable

This book was as good as Book 1. Good action, new characters joining the group, and plenty of dangerous people trying to kill them. Narration was top-notch. Exactly what I like in a book

Worried about your job, really!

So they believe there is a weapon that can destroy all that they now and they are currently the only ones that know about it and can possibly stop it. So Hank and Laura are sitting in a bar arguing about not following the bounty hunters code and Laura it's bad for his career.... This does not seem to fit with what is going on in the story or what you would be concerned about.

I do like the story, but...

The story is engaging and I genuinely want to keep going to find out what's next, but the quibble I have is all the conflict dumping between the main characters. Every spare moment in down time is a therapy session between 2 characters who knew each other as kids then reunite years later and act almost like they expect things to not have changed and they psychoanalyze their way through it. I found myself yelling at the speakers "Quit the therapy session and get on with it!" Again, it's not a bad story, There are just some flaws in how it's presented. I will probably give the next installment a go.

2nd Book just as Good as 1st

I felt the author did a Great job keeping the story and characters continuing forward from book 1 into book 2. Once again this is a page Turner, listened to it in one day, and already purchased the next in this series. Also again narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and Storyline.

Feels like it was written by a Boy Scout

Intellectually boring, but I did listen to the whole book. I’m not quite sure who the target audience is, but it’s written for kids.
