Stuck before chapter 2
Argh... Chapter 1 is fairly sensible, chew thoroughly and don't be afraid to leave some of our oversized portions on the plate. But the second part screws up the purpose of audiobooks. I use them to work, I cannot do an eyes closed portion.

Excellent
I found this from hearing him speak on the MindValley platform. This is an excellent audio. Some of the reviews talk about the stereo of specific sounds to left or right ear were not working but they worked great for me. I listen on my iPhone with my air pods.
It does talk about 7 days but the audible has 16 chapters and does not specify where to break and begin each “day” which would be helpful to know.

very good audiobook.. wish it was stereo
so far i like it.. it is very well narrated.. the only problem i have with it it's that it is not an audio in stereo.. if you hear the sessions in stereo the experience is way better. still, great job combining the book and the cd in one.

Lost 50 lbs & no longer obsessed by food!
About 5 years ago I listened to this on CD & was able to lose not only 50 lbs but also changed bad food habits I grew up with, how my life was centered around food, emotional eating & being a victim of the clean plate club mentality. My CD player broke & I think I accidentally threw the CD away with it! I have had lots of life changes & menopause so I slowly gained the weight back (covid sure didn't help). I know this works for me and I am so happy I found this on Audible this time! Within the first few days I have cut portions in half, not binged in evenings, nearly halted all emotional eating, and just felt calmer around food! Can't wait to see how I do this time & glad I don't have a CD to lose now! Plus this has so many more sessions! I shared it with my brother and I hope it works for him too! Thank you Paul McKenna!

Great information. The hypnosis recording is bad.
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes, in case the recordings of the hypnosis are in stereo. Otherwise I doubt someone can actually use it.

How could the performance have been better?
The guided hypnosis said "You have to hear this form the right and this from the left" Unfortunately the stereo recording did not work this way for me.The sound of the hypnosis is terrible in some places.

Please try this. It really works!
It’s a wordy review, but hopefully you can relate to one or more of my problems and this can help you too. I wish I knew about this like 8 years ago. No more “forbidden” food!
I stumbled onto Paul McKenna when I was on YouTube. It was just a snippet of a TV show and watched him help a plus-sized lady and her chocolate addiction. After he “reprogrammed” her, she almost threw up when he offered her a chocolate bar. I had to know more about this system. After a little research, I decided to try it and I downloaded the audiobook. It is amazing and it is working. I love Paul's voice, especially the voice he uses during the trance/hypnosis sessions. This program is so easy. It’s common sense. I look back on how I used to eat and yikes! I now see my food problems. Paul helped me realize I was eating because I was bored, I always ate dinner watching TV, always snacking while watching TV – I would eat an entire bag of chips and/or a box of cookies, etc. I didn’t realize what I was doing and I don’t think I savored the taste either. Also, I used to eat until I was nauseous. Pizza – yum! It tasted so good, even after I knew I was full, I keep eating because it was so good, although after I knew I was full, it didn’t taste as good, but I kept eating anyway. No more to all of those things.
I no longer look at myself in the mirror and call myself names.
In chapter 11 of the audiobook, he gives you 2 options – 1 if you would like to reprogram your mind to STOP a craving FOREVER and 2 – if you want to REDUCE a food craving. I wasn’t ready to stop a craving forever, but I wanted to hear it – big mistake – I was so nauseous. I won’t go too far into it, but you think of something gross and kinda combine it (in thought) with the food you want to eliminate. I haven’t “officially” done either one because I’m not obsessed with anything like I was before I started listening to Paul.
PLEASE try this. It’s really so easy. I loved the audiobook so much, I purchased the book too. I just ordered the *CD also. Can you tell I love it?
*The only reason why I ordered the CD (I’m guessing it is identical to the audiobook) is because the “hypnosis/trance” tracks are not in stereo – it’s supposed to be in stereo. He specifically says you will hear things from the right side and from the left side. So, unfortunately some of the sentences are blurred together.
If you say this program is stupid and/or it doesn’t work – it’s not the program that’s stupid, it’s you and you didn’t follow the program.
Oh, by the way, I am 5’4” and I weigh 112 pounds and I eat whatever I want, whenever I want and I am still losing weight. I look amazing! Thank you Paul.

doesn't play in stereo with stereo headphones
in the hypnosis sessions Paul delivers audio to the left and right here, however on audible Android it only comes out as mono. So both ears get both the left and right channels. It reduces the effectiveness because he's talking over himself in both ears. This would be an awesome book and perfect otherwise.
