Great resource with tons of practical tips

There are so many great tips in this book! It’s well written with interesting citations, and the brain science support makes the models and advice understandable, relatable, and practical. I listen on my way to work and always learn something new to help start my workday with an empowered mindset to more effectively work with my team. I really like how accountability is discussed both from the proactive side (employee engagement) and the responsive side (having difficult accountability conversations). It's essentially two books in one!

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to get better results from their team, specifically if looking for more positive and effective ways to “inspire” accountability and employee engagement.

Great for professional development!

I listened to this as part of developing my accountability skill in the workplace. Although the book is heavily focused on management, as an individual contributor I found it very helpful. Highly recommend!

Best leadership book I have ever listened to

I loved every minute of this book and it was hard to push stop on the audible player. The book has provided so many prescriptive tools to use in increasing accountability. I also like how the same approaches apply to corporate values and performance reviews. I will certainly leverage all of these new tools as I incorporate more accountability into my workplace.

Modern Approach to Driving Results

I really enjoyed this book and collected some take aways that I can execute to in the field. There was a section I skipped over as the steps were too rigid for my leadership style and what I feel is possible.

I would have loved this even more if the author performed the reading.

Not for audio

About 1 hour into this book the author explains that the next 2 chapters will be very hard to understand if you don't have the visual materials handy. Many audible books come with accompanying PDF's. However, this author/publisher's solution was to encourage listeners to buy the written version of the book.
